In the 80's, Made In Japan was shunned. Today, we are seeking that stuff out. Even the Honda motorcycles that knocked off the Triumph design are still running today. Unlike... the original.
One of the best Stratocasters I ever played was made by Greco - the electrics were crackly, but it played and sounded great. He wouldn't sell it to me.
Its a smasher! I used to go to a pawn shop before a big gig and buy a $70.00 bass. Play it for one song near the end of the set and Smash the Fs out of it!!!! Finish with Main bass.
Well I’d say you could get one by making it yourself it’s not that hard if you have that much money to spend tbh just buy a strat and customize it easy
1st guitar is picked softly and the 2nd has more distortion & is being beat harder, to say that that's a tone difference on the guitar's part is HERESY
This was really like the adoption of a mistreated kitten with only one eye or missing tail and then giving it the love it deserves. Respect for that. Without any pretext or sth. Do you think the frats would be nearly as good without the extensive work that guy put into polishing? I mean I don't understood some of the polishing in between (since I have no expertise in this) but this seemed like an extensive job done. So it would be also nice to see how these would compare with a home-made polishing job.
I bought the gold Starcaster, been a blink fan since 1999. I have the Epi Delonge at home, and I love it. The Starcaster is not bad, played great but it felt exactly like my 300USD Epi Delonge. Was not better at all so this price tag just couldn't be justified. I sent the Starcaster back, after a week.
I got a grass roots LP for like 20K yen (150ish usd i think) used, probably the best fingerboard I've ever touched on any guitar under the 100K yen mark. I sold it and got a schecter tele, but holy hell I miss it so much. If only LPs were more comfortable to play on for long periods of time
Thrnles Paul shape and controls are not protected. The open book headstock is. The v and explorer shapes are protected and their headstocks (mostly the v since the explorer is rather generic.). Prs won that the Les Paul body and controls are not protected like 10-15 years ago.
Wylde Audio designs i think would appeal more to people if they came in standard versions like just colors, sunbursts, etc…take his bullseye and buzzsaw branding off them and you got just more metal versions of Explorers(blood eagle) and SGs and the like, problem is I think unless your a diehard zakk fan or a norse warrior reincarnated, your sick of zakk wylde at this point and kinda want nothing of his on a guitar you own as far as that fucking bullseye, like i said, plain colored reasonably priced Odins, Warhammers, and Blood Eagles would appeal to more pros and players if they were not so tied to Zakks personality finish and inlay wise
Make not mistake tho, given the disposable “fuck money” levels of income i would probably own a few of his guitars, im just looking at it from the other perspective
I can hear the difference but I can’t say which one I prefer more. I’m quite impressed how much guitar you can get for $200. The finishing looks impressive that it kind of seemed you may have the prices switched.
