😂 Savile is a made-up character designed to act as the scapegoat upon his scripted death. All of the elite child abuse, trafficking, murder, cannibalism etc got blamed on the character after his death, which caused the public to feel that the matter is over, gone, died with the monster. The fact that this particular concept (of the scapegoat) was employed, should give a clue as to the group identity of those who cooked up thr script. Savlie wasn't even a man, but a biological female playing a male character.
Well, this didn't age well in regards to defending the BBC "not knowing" when you look into How Edwards and others. And what about that statue outside the BBC? All very weird.
And the BBC never learn. A paedo newsreader, rampant bullying on Strictly and a child groomer in charge of Doctor Who brainwashing kids with his gay / trans rhetoric.
Lol, did these people just complain about the issue being politicised… and then randomly bring up an irrelevant article to smear their rival? Haha. Fuck me. A prerequisite for being in the media is clearly raging narcissism.
Sad to hear Graham Linehan talking about Twitter even back then, considering how he's just perpetually on there now. Even sadder that this shows he was funny at one point. That stake joke was actually a good one! He was an undeniable big name in British comedy. Man. It's astounding how far he's fallen.
1:30 yeah I get this. when everyone knew about each and everything he did, then how can the press go "oh what a surprise" GODDAMIT! you knew! maybe even helped him I don't know, but you knew exactly what was going on
In the 60s two of my uncles, who weren't far off his age, a bit younger, would hoot at him in contempt whenever he was on TV, "a grown man acting like him" "always with the bishop" "devout catholic" "definitely something not right" "wouldn't leave him with the family dog never mind a kid". And the people at the BBC, closest to him, didn't notice anything?
Jimmy Savile lived mostly in Leeds and often worked as a volunteer porter at Leeds General Infirmary. His eagerness to take dead bodies to the mortuary was well known first in the hospital and then throughout the city. Leeds United fans would regularly chant about Saville's strange activities and the fans of other clubs would soon pick up on this and create their own chants. These chants would often be broadcast on programs like Match of the Day but they would be studiously ignored by the studio commenters.
In the early 90's I remember watching Jim'll fix it and I mentioned wanting to write in and ask for something. My aunt gave me a strange look and said "no no no... don't do that..." and I had no idea what she was on about. She did work as a nurse so she probably heard some of the rumours from colleagues.
I’m still bewildered why the public took to an odd looking middle-aged man, smoking a cigar, and making weird sexual innuendos and thought he’d be alright around the kids.
And yet bbc knew 15-20 mins prior building 7 coming down.....It's nice we can talk about it and Yahweh will speak to them about it and it won't be a discussion.
Stopped watching this tired program when they labelled the majority of the voting population idiots just because they disagreed. The BBC ditched David Bellamy because of his beliefs but were happy to carry on with Saville. The BBC is corrupt.
@@Bobble86 posting suspected underaged people topless on social media + accusing other people of being nonces for supporting their kids yeah what an upstanding fellow
Spineless audience, they laughed after he said he "Does anybody he can lay his hands on" but now they act all shocked, not realising they allowed him to get away with all those crime. Hundreds of British children became victims thanks to the spineless fuck faces of the time.
The American equivalent of Jimmy Savile would be Harvey Weinstein, though his target group seems to have been young actresses and perhaps other media employees. In the land of Ayn Rand he has his supporters as well as detractors. There must have been many like him in the golden age of Hollywood, and perhaps also in the old theatre and showbiz generally. That would explain the age-old reluctance parents had to let their daughters go on the stage. It wasn't just "Victorian morality" which led to the use of chaperones and such like: they knew what the risks were for women with the balance of power in their society. The "New Morality" let the fox into the chicken coop.
I can vividly remember growing up in the late 70s to mid 80s and my Father continuing denouncing Saville as a filthy old nonce that should be executed, and always immediately turned off when he was on tv. I used to to think, 'wow Dad has issues'. There must have been thousands of normal members of the public who felt this. Yet, the powers that be, right to the top, did nothing? He said similar things about 3 other men, 2 have since be found out to be paedos. One is still alive and so far not found out...
As someone who used his examplele to hide in plane sight when you break a law it really does work. Im no peado. But it works for any crime if you joke about it people just take ypu as a liar. You csn get away with so many illegal things. Tax evasion, theft, vuolence all sorts it really works.
growing up abroad, I'd never heard of him until maybe a year before all this came out and I was in my early 20s. with the complete absence of background story, it was abundantly clear to me the guy was a creep.
No one ever wondered about his royal connections? Was it a factor in why he was never prosecuted? Was Starmer's knighthood a reward for letting him go? There's a mass of mostly unasked questions surrounding Savile and who he was pally with. Do you think MI6 and MI5 were ignorant of Savile's predilections? The people who make an art of using people's perversions to control them. It's all very very fishy.
