This is a superb camera at a very affordable price. Great choice on the super 35 too. One question I had was, what colour space transform settings would you use when you take this footage into Resolve for grading? Like, what will be the gamma and colour space that you input? Like for braw, it is simple, same for Arri, we go Arri wide gamut and then Arr log c3 or c4 depending on camera.
This is why youtube creators are silly. He says you can create good images with super 35 if you know what you're doing. Without knowing the fact that almost all of cinema's history, cameras have been mainly super 35. Go look it up, genius. All of movie history you ever enjoyed is "super 35". LOL Also this guy says camera has 14 stops of dynamic range but has no idea those are advertised ones. Real clean ones are under 12 stops.
Feel better now? Also, that is my sentiment, the fact that MOST up coming filmmakers and seasoned vets think super 35 is inferior to full frame. Which we know that’s not true as you stated. Anyway, I hope you are making great work as a cinematographer. Feel free not to waste your time watching my videos ;) since you think I am “silly RU-vid creator”
These focal length choices for the closeups are pretty wide. It feels so distorted like a 0.5 selfie or Ernest goes to camp. it doesnt put the best foot forward showcasing how cinematic these lenses are. Just my opinion.
I'm in the market to get a cinema camera as I'm now trying to progress towards bigger jobs and your videos have really helped narrow down my focus onto the Kineinfinity brand. This camera seems incredible for the price point. Thank you for your informative videos!
Is there not some programmable offset in mm for the DJI LiDAR to be mounted in various scenarios? This looks decent but front-heavy. Spending as much in rigging as the whole LiDAR system costs is pretty ridiculous, especially considering how difficult this makes lens swaps.
I ended up getting the L1. Although I love and appreciate the subtle look of the L2, it’s hard to too tell in some shots. Almost just looks like a pro mist filter. The main reason I’d invest in this tool is to get that ‘look’ that the L1 gives. Thoughts?
