You forgot the motherboard hook that goes under the screw on the top left of the battery. I was working on a hp 14 laptop today and when i was trying to shake out some busted plastic that black thing, (the motherboard hook, as I found out using google lens), fell out. I couldn't work out where it came from but after seeing this video I now know where it goes. Thanks.

If my laptop is already installed with 16 GB ram, can I keep the current one and just add a new one of any brand but still 16 GB so I can get a total of 32 GB? Thank you.
you have to check if you have 2 memory ram, 8GB and 8GB or one 16GB... if you have 2 memory ram 8GB each, you need to buy the set of 2 16GB = 32Gb.. if you have 1 16GB, and 1 slot free, buy just one 16GB

Thanks man! it was exactly it. Laptop did not even post. It was a different laptop MSI GS63VR, that had liquid damage, and similar ribon cable going to daughter board with SD card and ethernet port was coroded. At first laptop did work after cleaning, but after a year or so started missbehaving and until it did not even post after windows reinstall.
When the laptop is completely wiped the hard drive and you removed the installer you perform this.. If you want to reset you hold command + r and take you to the menu..
Would you happen to know which model Segway this scooter is? I really need to know because I have the same one and it needs a new cpu and i keep frying ES2 cpus on it
