I don’t really get the timeline so I’d love for someone to explain. Why is Gamefuna making a game on a floppy disk whilst Lionel is releasing games on steam?

I love how right after you watch Luke get murdered in cold blood the music that plays for the credits is the happiest, most objectively pretty track in the game. It’s almost whimsical. You just watched a man get shot in the face lol
Carla did not create Sado. She created Chandrelle, which you can read about if you wait in the beat-up segment for the clouds to clear up and reveal the article. Lionel was upset about Chandrelle being so popular. Why would he be upset if it were one of his characters? No, Lionel lied in his memoirs, about who created which characters. Carla made Chandrelle, and Lionel was so annoyed about the requests for 'more female characters' that he must've gone all passive-aggressive and created one, but made it a creepy spider-themed clown. Sado.
I don’t care if its not canon, I will forever headcanon that the game we play is just Luke’s recording of the game, and that the great transcendence failed. Though then again I guess it could make some sense that we play the video and the great transcendence still happens? Either way though wouldn’t P03 being not just killed, but also completely and utterly deleted stop the great transcendence? After all the game shouldn’t be complete- it’s be the exact opposite- no screenshots for the store page (which might simply say ‘screenshots required’ and then not accept the game) nothing that could possibly ever give internet access if the ‘game’ is just the old data now. “Upload interupted” “Upload resumed” “Error: There are so many things wrong here. I have a theory that maybe the real protagonist is someone at GameFuna either playing the game, developing and or play testing it. With the "real world" having a desk and a computer, the fact that the USB stick has the blue triangle makes it even more likely.

Here is an idea. The game will involve us saving or accending luke. satan is a pretender at games with no passion for them. Luke on the other hand has passion and was in direct contact with the old data for the longest likely time then others. And was not one of the things that luke was to do at the end of inscription to be to replace a scribe? The old data might be giving luke a chance to replace the being of power who parralells them in his world. satan. Nonsense theory but interesting to me
Panda Circus is by far my most anticipated game, but there has been little to no information revealed ever since the TGA trailer (that barely anyone watched because it was in the preshow). I already know it will be a masterpiece, but that doesn’t tell me *what* it will be about. All I know about the theming of the game is that “panda circus” is some sort of joke in the game like “a beeper perhaps”? And the weird guy is portrayed by prozd. I don’t know how secretive Daniel is about his games, like if he says nothing about it before it comes out or spills a ton of info, I played all 3 of his games *after* they came out. On New Year’s Day 2025 I will start counting down the potential days for when panda circus comes out. It better not be in December lol
I wonder though... What if when Luke gets that "Cease and desist" mail from GameFuna, why didn't he simply copied the files on his computer and send back the disquette? It might have prevented him from getting lead on his face by Sado and that could have opened the way for a sequel. Like what the old_data could do to his computer outside of Inscryption or inside it since he goes to completion to see the old_data.
Pretty late to the party but I think the power only manifests in 1 place, since unless Lue Natas has bad memory he could just arrange the cards in the right order himself but because it was digitilized it's permenantly trapped in the floppy disk
I only disagree with a couple things here. The first is that I don't think the Karnoffle Code holds any power. It was a cipher to unlock and control the doomsday device, and was stored on Inscryption with the OLD_DATA, but I don't think the order of the cards is powerful. I think the power all resides in the OLD_DATA itself. And I think the discovery of the OLD_DATA, or at least an archaic version of it, was the technology responsible for the creation of the doomsday weapon. The data itself holds power, regardless of the form it takes. The other thing is that I don't think Satan is the ultimate villain here. I think he's just one of the parties vying for the power of the OLD_DATA. It's been a while since I've delved into the Mullinsverse, so I don't remember if we know how the OLD_DATA was created, but I think it's older than Satan himself. It's always existed. A handful of entities know it exists and want to use it to their own ends, but I think the main idea is that it's older than time and curses everyone it reaches. So in a sense, the villain is the existence of the OLD_DATA, which isn't sentient but seems to grant sentience, among other things. This is all just my own theories as well, though. Overall, a great recap!

i hope more lore to inscryption will be added when the main character dies like an afterlife as an card and an new character to play inscryption and characters to replace the deleted ones i think the new player would be main characters best friend

What if (and this might just be wishful thinking) in the next few Daniel Mullins games we see a rise of a network of P03s spreading to and taking over every PC they can. Bringing bits of the old data and inscryption with them wherever they go.
So who the hell is Bonelord and Mycologist? Because they both studied the OLD_DATA, and both might survived files purge, since they are both were independent of PO3 control.
