Hello all! I am Dyceron. I am a speedrunner and streamer on Twitch.tv. I primarily speedrun Nintendo games, with heavy focus on the Metroid series. You can expect to see an upload every week on this channel, with content ranging from speedruns, challenge playthroughs, highlight reels, and strategy videos for various games. Stick around if you enjoy the content you see!
Thanks for showing the cutscenes on the title screen. I've been trying to find videos of these, I appreciate it a whole lot. It's interesting to see the major difference between the demo and the final product.
Since Lightning Armor has a secondary mechanic of adding damage and range to your counter, would there be a possibility of adding a door type for it? By the way, I always look forward to watching your randomizer vids, keep up the good work!
I did mess with other doors ideas, and doors can be set to be opened by a Melee, but I haven't figured out how to shuffle Melee yet. I haven't tried with Lightning Armor Melee though.
Is that the switch version? I’ve noticed speedrunners seem to primarily use the switch version for speed runs which I find curious. Doesn’t it have longer loading times? Does it have some special quirk that makes up for that time?
I see temple assembly site has to be loaded "naturally" through Its load trigger otherwise game will crash. Just learned that the hard way in my own NSJ game.
frogger is a brutal game. nice run, im guessing runners have to use this clunky version rather than an optimized emulator or something? cheers for the memories, love me some 100% classic game runs
Hey do you use turbo or just mashing for movement? I'm curious because I managed to beat your Garden any% WR last night by a tenth of a second, but I was using turbo to practice (it looks like you're going about the same speed that I was movement-wise) so I didn't record the run. Is turbo used in F2 speedrunning or is it frowned upon? I wanna get into the scene but I don't really know the rules the community goes by.
