Watching this MASTERPIECE again!! I kid u not i was like “what was that really awesome movie where…” i’ve been thinking about this and searching for it for a while now. I’m so happy to rewatch this just amazing moving story! Ah🥹😌🍃
i like to fall asleep at 4am-6am, because I feel creative and excited at night when the world is quiet, I don't like the noisy and bright other hours of the clock.
Doing it yourself ALL the time is Hyper-independence. Which is a trauma response. It's not wrong. It's just good to realise so you can learn to trust again.
Love your color grade. As a full time working director / cinematographer , the grade is as important as composition and exposure and cuts. You’re killing it Nat 👊🏼👊🏼
Gotta say I was into these at first…. Pretty great channel mostly due to cinematography in some of the episodes. But after 8 or so of these it just becomes too overly dramatic and existential to an extent that just becomes silly. Still good videos but it’s like … just drive around in your van and make videos and have fun. Not everything has to be done “for a shot” set to Bon Iver tracks. You’re like what 19… still basically a kid… take a breath and have fun and figure yourself out. Don’t go out of your way to obsess over every little imperfection in your upbringing, psyche, relationships, etc. It rings hollow when someone with essentially no life experience is trying too hard to preach their life lessons and Jack Handy Deep Thoughts. JUST CHILL BRO.
Natalie, I hope that 4 years on you have discovered that you never fully feel like an adult. There’s a freedom in always feeling the same way you did when you started to figure out who you are. I’m 42 and still like to think that the best days are ahead of me… when I’m a grown up 🙂
i envy those who have passions and hobbies, its a crazy concept to me that some possess the power to enjoy an activity to the point of permanency. Especially those who have passions or hobbies that are monatizable
loved how natalie so intricately captured the ephemerality of life and acceptance of death to embrace life fully. Editing, storytelling and cinematography was on-point. It made me laugh out loud and ponder, it felt surreal to watch. I dont remember last time I was so present in the moment while watching a piece of film. Truly wonderful!
Man im 14 and have wanted this sort of life since 12 and my gooooshhh man ive gone through your entire borderless series and most of everything youve said ive been able to relate too its like looking in a mirror. Your such an amazing person and i look up to you🫶🏼
“If I lose this…” Art is not something you can “lose”! You may feel dejected enough to put it down for awhile, but you can always come back and do more(: I know that might entail losing followers, but if it lets you relax and feel like the art is more authentic, then I think it was worth it
This was a great video and it inspired me to want to make a film of my own, does anyone know how she did the paper crumbling transitions and the picture cut outs of her and her friend move? Thank You
I knew this would happen to me as well, thats why I keep RU-vid as a hobby and have a day job as well. Takes the pressure away from the creative parts of my life so I can focus on enjoying it and not on the financial aspect of it.
