Strange that it even rusted. Japanese steel is the best in the world for knives and swords. I have a WW2 Katana that is 80 years old and not a speck of rust on it. It does need a new handle. Wood and cloth don't last forever.
Rusty knife can be found anywhere. But, naturally rusted knife with micro pitting gonna take many years. Knife in this video definately artificially rusted.
