You welded a screw onto the tang. That's just jaw-dropping. You actually welded a screw. Onto the tang. I don't even have words to form what my following sentence should be.
Amazing work as usual. 😊 That dagger just got a second life. The handle looks awesome. The dagger is absolutely beautiful 😊 Great job can't wait to see your next video. I get totally relaxed watching you 😊 I hope 2024 is a great year for you. Happy New Year 🎉
I have to agree. Blade is most likely 100% Stainless steel, with as nice as it cleaned up. No pitting at all. Makes me wonder too. Wasn't really rust, just looked like hard water scale. Stuff I get on my Stainless steel pots.
As a Knife collector, that is a 100% Stainless Steel blade. No pitting or discoloration at all. So more then likely a wall decoration. or a fancy cake cutter.
First of all great restoration the knife is definitely back in amazing condition. My only negative comment is it’s just a little plain for my taste. It’s just all the metal is polished, and the same color and the handles light. Once you get it back in to such amazing condition like you did, I would’ve just maybe added a slightly darker handle, or maybe do some bluing to the cross guard. Just something to give it a little bit more definition, once again, this is not a critique on your restoration, You did a great job. It looks like new.
Looks very nice!! What was it made of stainless steel??? It looked like it and you can tell it wasn't very old since it was glued and with no pins I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
I expect the blade and cross guard where both 100% Stainless steel, as nice as they cleaned up. Looks like maybe the guy just buried it in his back yard for a year.
Just a question - where you do find these things? I only dig up rusty nails and doggie pooh in my backyard!!! 😂Great work just the same and I hope that you'll have a great 2024!!!
