He's by far the best singer in x factor history. He's actually one of the best male singers I've ever heard. Sadly tho you usually need the media with you to be ms successful and the agenda was always anti male x factor artist. It's sad how we just follow along like sheep.
Interestingly, ALL modern versions of this song date back to Roberta Flack's reading of the song. Of course, the song had been around for over a decade before Roberta's recorded it and had been covered by lots of performers BUT Roberta's take on it has become the "go to " version.
There's a Harry Belafonte version that kinda lends from the original's guitar-y arrangement :) Nevertheless slowed down, but still less dry and mourning than what everyone else did ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aYyPG6ziX2Q.html
What can be said about this! Exemplary. Stupendous. This is some voice...and not enough people have heard it! Why is that? 5 years on from this performance and hes still not as well known as he should be. Baffling!
I've got love if you want it.I've got faith if you need it...yes we do Matt..saw you live a while ago you were truly amazing..vocals unbelievable..RU human? Lol..can't wait for album you deserve great success..best singer out there by miles
This is so amazing! Yes, an album of blues/jazz would be so great. Some of his songs, like "When You Were My Girl" and "Anyone Else" and his stint in Memphis touch on this, but he kills it here.
Beautiful rendition! Although Alanis is -maybe- impossible to cover cause her songs and voice (not forget the lyrics) are unique! Very very well done!!!
yeah. Impossible to cover, in general. Well done, by Matt Cardle. This cover, is the worse one I came across: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RLRUvy0ZCjQ.html
