This is a new step for Stage Alpha Garage having it's own dedicated channel so some of the videos are older as I am pulling them from my other channel.
Any idea how to replace those 6 bolts that the CV axle bolts onto because my axle came off and took all those bolts out and I need to replace those bolts but I need to get it out but no luck if you can reply I’d appreciate it thank you my cars been out for 5 months Now I’ve gotten around to trying to fix it 🙏🏽

@@stagealphagarage appreciate i got new bolts it’s just pulling out the drive shaft and hit the old bolts out and putting new ones in. Yeah I was driving down the road when my axle came loose going 60mph so the loose axle completely sheered off those bolts and replaced everything and mounted a new axle now she’s Running again appreciate it man 🙏🏽
Dude this video was such a help, my driver side one is clicking and i want to get it replaced before i start college again in a couple weeks thank you so much for this video its going to help greatly i had one question when getting the bolts off the inner cv axle was it hard did you need any extensions?
No special tools needed. I think you can do it with a decent adjustable. The only thing I had difficulty with is getting new boots on because I do not have a boot spreader.....Well off to get that now lol. Glad the video helped. Cheers
I know I had to switch some RCA cables around but sound works in all 4 of mine. Never ran into your issue. maybe something is not all the way plugged in?
Did you connect all the cables that were originally connected to the stereo back ? Or did you leave them unplugged and only plugged in the ones that came with the kit?
Awesome Video! To answer your question, yes the Corolla GR is AWD. I had a blast in the Mazda3 AWD! It was my first time in this type of event and most likely not the last.
@@GabrielTheGuitarist what about deleting the app and reinstalling via the play store or maybe even manually loading apps on via a usb? I`m going to have to take a seat in mine again and maybe do another video update.
Its Ok, I`m no audiophile and I also only have 4 Speakers, No sub. Its a cool screen, gives the car a nice feel but in the end the audio goes through an aux cord and I still get a lot of Alternator whine even with the filter installed. I usually don't have it cranked or even on as I like to enjoy the sound of the care and the scenery around me lol. Its not loud in my car even when you turn it up full though I could have settings not right. There are better options out there for sure.
Hi, I am tryning to install the same head unit. I follow all the instruccions and the sound is coming out from the cd radio instead of the new unit. I already try pressing media or mode and it only switch the screen on the new unit. Can you help me?
You have the aux plugged and the old unit on aux? Its been awhile since I installed mine. They do work a bit together. Do you have sound from your speakers.
I never got around to mounting it yet. I just have it hooked up to ground and the reverse light bulb so when I put in reverse and the reverse light comes on it activates the camera signal and the screen automatically switches to the camera. Mine is just laying in my trunk at the moment so not much to see haha.
I think they may be taped together behind the head unit. Red and White ones. Its been sometime since this swap and memory is a little hazy. Sorry, Thanks for watching though!
Hey do you know what wiring is in charge of the air control display? I installed this last year and ever since I haven’t been able to get air settings to display on the unit
I can't remember it was all plug and play. If you read through the comments there are some good tips from people to try and see if any work for you. Cheers
I love how you said at 0:35 you were just going to remove those two clips up there that you can’t see very well and then cuts the video to say we got ‘em out. Haha. I’m absolutely no mechanic whatsoever so when I got mine out, I was well over an hour with skinned knuckles and mangled clips at the end of it 😂 Sometime, I’d love to see a video on that one clip alone as I dredge doing that again. It was not bad, I used a hooked pry bar to rotate the clip to release it then a straight pry bar and it slid right out. I honestly had the hardest time with the bushing at the rear that slides onto the pin/protrusion of the arm. I did not see the 2 little nuts holding it on. I could probably do a shorts video for it. hows the yulbro so far? I finally installed my camera on it,its pretty good ,still cant figure out why my radio fm/am doesnt work doe i only use it with car play
It could be better but it works for what I need. I still haven't installed the camera its just laying in the trunk still. Yea I only use Android Auto as well.
I like the way you presented the information. I owned a Genesis Coupe for almost a year- loved it but convinced myself I needed a truck more so I traded it. I kick myself in the rear EVERY time I see one drive by. It’s back in the goal list to get another one and I’ll likely upgrade the radio with the help of your video. Thank you and hope you do much better with less mosquitoes in the future 👍😇
Appreciate the view. They are fun cars. I chose the Genesis Coupe because I have a family and it has a back seat unlike the Z's but turns out its a really great car too :)
Fair enough, Will keep that in mind for future videos, This was very early in my content creating. I did not even have this channel when I filmed that during the start of Covid.
Great Video I plan on doing this myself to prep and then turbo the 3.8 eventually. I’m just getting into this kind of work and was curious did you make the holes in the trunk to feed the positive to the engine bay? Also with the distribution box did you individually feed each cable into the block?
Thanks for the watch. I used a hole that was already there to run the +Cable through but I did have to cut a hole in the firewall. Yes I fed each cable individually into the block.
Do i have to do it every time when I for example turn on the car, or do I just do it once and it will show the temperature all the time from this point?
You want to be super careful with the door puddle lights. If a puddle light is malfunctioning, it could make the car fail to lower the window glass when the door is open. Then next time you close the door hard enough you would shatter the glass.
Thanks for the kind comment, I was also putting my winter tires on at the same time like I said in the video. Didn't need to jack it up for just the light but it did also make it easier. Cheers
Its good, It does have some draw backs but I am no audiophile, Half the time I don't listen to anything other than the sounds of the car and the voices in my head...... Cheers
