Hey I was going to get one of these now after watching your video. I was wondering how the heck you contact them if you have a question or an issue. I have the factory gps and was thinking this would still work? And the Ac does the hot cold temp show up on the screen and lastly does it have the Google play store available on the screen? Did you switch the Red & White audio cables? I talk about it starting at 5mins 35secs in the video.

I ran it to the left under the steering wheel plastics then down under the door sill plastic, then behind the rear side window plastic out to the trunk. I have not yet ran the camera through the rear bumper as you have to remove the bumper then drill a hole to feed it out by your licence plate. Hope you get yours installed with no hassle. Cheers

I was looking at the Brainiac option as well but there were a couple things I did not like about it. I did not want to have to use that specific tablet as you have to source your own and it does not come with the kit. The price after the add owns is about $530 USD plus the cost of the tablet. I also think you loose some control information of the climate controls and the 3 useless "performance" gauges with the Brainiac. I do however really like the look of that kit, it really transforms the interior into a Tesla feel lol. I would love to be able to compare them side by side. The YULBRO kit is non destructive install as well which is a nice touch. Let me know what you go with, would love to hear about your choice. Thanks for watching, More content to come. Cheers

There have been zero post launch updates to the main app which has many problems. The most annoying of which is that the climate dongle does not automatically connect to the tablet app, you must press yes on a prompt each time. This also affects the infiniti amp control, granted you don't need to adjust that much. 1/5 times the usb does not get started at the exact right moment (it tries to connect right at ignition, which you can imagine is problematic as the car cuts power to crank) which means you need to fish the tablet USB out and replug it. This is totally solvable by changing some minor settings as the developer, so it can remember the prompt response. The climate readout itself has issues including invalid outside temperature readings like >+120C. (I expect this is also fixable, just a unit conversion error.) It is also very laggy when it likely doesn't need to be. It also has some issues reading apps from the launcher, replacing them randomly with relay switches. And some jankyness with media playback status. Most android launchers have zero issue with. And finally, it crashes all the time. The reason you can tell is the tablet will occaionally ask you which app you'd like to use as your home screen. Also as a nitpick, the hardware totally could have integrated steering wheel controls, but they didn't for some reason. I did it with an Esp32 over Bluetooth instead. (The climate info perhaps should have been Bluetooth instead of usb too...) One more wire to stuff behind the dash. I have a feeling they maybe once had a developer on contract but aren't willing to pay to get the issues fixed. Ive tried talking to them but they ghosted my emails. The outer enclosure looks good, but beyond that a aliexpreas head unit is probably better.

I’m actually currently installing my Yulbro unit but I’m having some issues because I’m also installing a 4 ch & mono ch sub amp in my Gen. Car audio is way more complicated than I thought it would be lmao

Does this kit work with the premium infinity audio system?

@@stagealphagarage so i couldn't figure the way you wired this, and ended buying a pigtail and crimped the black harness with the regular style stereo and was working fine, but steering wheel controls and reverse doesn't work. So I thought I'd come back to this again, but I'm still having issues. which yellow RCA and wire did you use exactly to trigger the reverse cam? and do i really not use the black harness that plugs into the back except for power?

There should be a 2 sets of red and white RCA cables like on mine if you have the same unit. Have you reached out to the seller? Yes I am still trying to figure out the climate controls, I was told by someone else that if you go into the factory settings and change the model of car you have that they will work. I am waiting to try this to see which model it needs to be. I hope you get it figured out.

From what I can remember the yellow video cable plugs into the backup camera.

Yellow wire needs to be wired to the pink “back car” wire in the wiring harness. You just trim the plastic and twist the two wires together.

Did you get a high pitched whine? You may need the frequency filter. I am no sound connoisseur so it sounds good to me.. What unit did you buy?

I`m not sure, Is there only one set of red/white audio cable? My unit had 2, one set was taped from supplier, I had to un tape them and switch them around. I hope you get it working. Did you contact the supplier?

I have two pairs and I’m getting no audio in my 2015 Ultimate. I talked to the dude and he doesn’t know why it’s not working. I tried the aux method as well. Maybe this unit is just not built for the ultimate trim? It seems like the wiring harness only has 4 speaker wires which definitely is not enough for the Infinity speaker setup. The unit is so nice though.. I’m hoping I can make the audio work.

I do not have an iPhone so can not test the connectivity of it. The sound flows through the car speakers as does your phone call. My Android has to be plugged in for Android Auto to work. Thanks for watching.

Just an update got the 6g+128g version the apple carplay is wireless and the steering wheel vol does work but u have to put the vehcile info as a hyundai rohens i think its another name for the genesis in a different country

You have the aux plugged and the old unit on aux? Its been awhile since I installed mine. They do work a bit together. Do you have sound from your speakers.

I haven't yet, I tested it to make sure it works but I am changing out the bumpers over the winter so waiting for that to happen and I'll do the camera at the same time. I do suggest getting the ground loop isolater or you'll get that radio squeal. I just ordered a BOSS AUDIO B25N.

@@stagealphagarage it was rooooooough 😂. Took me forever to figure out the audio cable because we couldn’t find it and then I looked at the faceplate and found it 🤦. If I was you I would buy a better camera. The one they sent me was junk. The brand I got was Natika IP69K. Looks awesome. I also want a new bumper so Ill have to drill another hole 😂

Unfortunately the volume only works with the OEM volume knob. Maybe a software update could fix this? The unit has a few quality of life issues but is far superior to the OEM unit. Thanks for watching :)

Mine came with a plug and play harness.

The camera is connected to the head unit via a yellow RCA cable. So if yours uses the same type of connection then I would assume yes.

Yes the supplier says it works with the Nav screen.

Mine has to use the RCA to aux to work. Strange you did not get it with the kit. Hopefully you were able to get it working. Cheers

Did you double check your red/white audio cables? Is the volume up using the volume knob and the volume up on the new head unit?

Some people have got it to work. My fan level shows the change but the temperature does not. It doesn't really bother me, just left for cold and right for less cold lol

I know in the sellers description it shows it works with cars that had navigation, though it does not mention the Infinity sound system. Have you checked with the seller directly?

Most everything works but the volume control on the steering wheel. It might be a case of user error though.

Most everything works. The steering wheel volume does not control volume anymore, you have to use the knob on the center console. Yes the A/C still works. The display does not show temperature change though. Link is in description now. Cheers

@@stagealphagarage There should be a way to get the steering wheel controls to work with the head unit, I was able to get it to work but you do need to program it on one of the head unit's settings apps to have it macro it. Also I have seen around that some people got the temperature change to show on the screen but I'm still trying to figure out how they did that. Cheers!
