this is not a dupe or a replacement idk how you white ppl have such bad examples of comparing this scent its literally its own scent that's very very very dark and heavy in the more sappy true to the middle eastern scents and not a Maison margiela perfume if anything it doesn't even come close to it
Man, Im so very confused bc I just finally got a bottle of this yesterday, It smells of rubber and slightly of sugar with NO smokey accord and pretty weak performance. It has the holographic sricker and bottle looks legit. Hoping its a maceration thing.
I just got this today and I see what you mean about the dry down smelling similar to Dior Sauvage Elixir. I have the Lattafa ASAD clone version, and the dry down smells very, very similar to that, imo
Been wearing it since 2007. Dipped into a Caroline Herrera scent for a while. It’s reliable and I don’t really get tired of it. Got a tester for Terre D’Hermes with my last purchase. For a sports style, lemony fragrance, it’s not to offensive. It has that bitterness, but calms down to a refreshing just cut grass level. L’Instant is still my go to daily though.
@@realscentreview I've picked up a few from Amouage. All very good but it's Gold Man that's amazing. I believe it was their first fragrance and from what I read was created to give as gifts to visiting royalty and heads of state. It's similar to a masculine Chanel No5 and reminds me of vintage Guerlain Habit Rouge EDT, has that elegant yet skanky civet note. I find it absolutely intoxicating but don't know how many people would appreciate it today. I've got to get a back up bottle!
All this whirlwind of people stressing over "reformulations this" and "reformulations that" yadda yadda yadda..... Dude it's only round fifty bucks ..just spray the hell outta it and enjoy yourself ... . WTF
I find Unutamam an easy wear. Especially when wearing a Leather Jacket. Up close the fragrance smells like an old Leather Welder's Apron, Soldering Tools, & Industrial Smoke Plumes. But in the air it doesnt smell that way. It really does smell like a cross between a Chypre & a Fougere. But without smelling like an 80's powerhouse. Its Leathery, Spicy, Piney, Mossy, Smoky, Animalic, & subtly sweet. Which is simply beautiful in the Fall & Winter air. I love the olfactory illusions this fragrance creates. Sometimes I smell dried spilled whiskey on an oak table. Other times I smell that, along with dry Tobacco Leaves. Sometimes I smell freshly dyed Black Leather, or New Vinyl. For anyone who's watched the show "Peaky Blinders" Unutamam conjures the image of what that outside meeting area behind the Mill, Stables, & Blacksmith's Forge would smell like. The compliment I got from a female friend was: "Mmmmm Now That Smells Like A Man". I dont think Unutamam is a fragrance to be feared. But I do know it to be a fragrance one will need to take some serious time trying to understand before purchasing it, or wearing it.
What if a 20yo wears this? Would it seem unusual or mismatched? Review said 30+yrs but not sure if thats an estimate of who will enjoy it or whether who it suits to wear
Just bought the Extreme last week. (Late to the party). Smells nice but performance on my skin is the worst I’ve ever experienced. After a hour it’s virtually undetectable. Might be cheap, but a complete waste of money for me.
Funny, I used to hear people say dark aoud was dry. This is the dryest I have experienced. Gives me the vibe of fresh laundery, airy, green woody without any mass appealing sweetness. Drydowns of OE is similar to that of Black Aoud by Montale.
Hey. I got recently a 125 ml bottle of this one. Everyone says good projection & longevity. Maybe it's me, but on my skin it is very soft. I can't hardly smell it. Is there a known issue with maturation regarding this fragrance ?
One of the best reviews i have ever watched. Your review is fantastic. Congrats! I can tell you that i tried at least 50 perfumes in my life and i have never smelt such a unique and amazing perfume! Yesterday i was looking for a new perfume in a shop and i never thought about trying fahrenheit. I am 42. When i describe what i was looking for in terms of scents, the experienced seller proposed me to try it....woah woah woah amazing scent! Nothing smells like this! A nuclear bomb! I have a collection of 25 perfumes at home including very expensive niche perfumes, i can tell you i am about to forget them all!!! after 25 years of perfume collection, i have found my all time signature! The EDT is spectacular. What a authentic perfum, the uniqueness is amazing.
I completely agree with you. Sawalef is simply amazing although very linear. Top quality oud is being used. Should i consider picking ajmal/ al haramin golden oud if i already posses Sawaleh? Your suggestions?
