My problem with the uniforms in more modern ww2 games is just making uniforms that didn't exist, like when the game says the soldiers are the SS, instead of correct uniforms they are in weird Wehrmacht SS hybrid uniforms with SS sleeve eagle but Heer collars attached. (Prime example of this is in COD WW2 in the Paris liberation mission) Like I get it, SS bad, but don't try to put them in your games and not use the correct symbols. Clearly that isn't an issue with this game cause the swastika is all over the game, I'm sure SS rune tabs wouldn't be that hard to model cause the only difference is the collar gets changed and the location of the eagle from the right breast to left sleeve.
Sniper elite 5 the story was weird but I loved it I played sniper elite 4 before I loved that to and they need to add the weak points back and also who ever struggled on sniper elite 5 on max difficulty and complaining about the population of soldiers I’m sorry but that’s a skill issue
Base-Form RSC 1918: Underpowered, Somewhat Weak, Low/Low-Mid Range. (If I had to grade it from A, being the best rifle, to F, being the worst. It would possibly be a C- or even a D, in terms of a grade).
Hiway tharya go. I wish you could turn off voices for Karl but still keep enemy voices. Karl talks to himself way to much! It kills the emersion and I find it silly that Karl can talk to himself out loud and enemies don't hear him. If the player can hear enemies then the enemies can hear Karl. The Devs animated Karl's mouth when he speaks in game.
Stg 44 being the inspiration for the AK is almost a complete lie. The internal mechanism is VERY different and they work off different principles (the AK mechanism is actually extremely similar to the one on the M1 Garand). Mikhail Kalashnikov even said in his book that the inspiration for the AK was the M1
For Sidearms, here's what I think should be in the next Sniper Elite game: 1. FN Model 1910. The FN Model 1910 was a U.S.-Designed, Belgian-made, Semi-Automatic Pistol (Made from 1910 - 1983). I think you desrespect the gewehr 43 its a high velocity gun yes it has low damage but once you master it its a menace you can also rely on it for when you are discovered when high rate of fire and clip size matter the most
I asked this in a previous video, but in sniper elite 4 is it worth grinding to get the damage mastery on a weapon or to just get it passively. How much of an effect does the buff have
@@CarpeNoctem135 It's kinda dependent on the weapon. Big bolt action rifles do lots of damage anyway, but for semi-autos, some submachine guns, and a fair few pistols its definitely worth it. You can save scum it quite easily if you know what you're doing, so lots of the time it's not that hard. I've mastered all the weapons in the game, and whilst it took a while, it wasn't a herculean task
@@TWilsonSE I did the same with the Luger, would you say the Luger “or any other pistol” for that matter is better than the Welrod damage and range wise while using suppressed ammo?
In the X Ray kill the slug becomes a pellet after piercing through an enemy. Also the game shows only a single pellet when firing buckshot... they never fixed it.
For shotguns, here is what I think the next Sniper Elite game should include (along with the Drilling or Trench Gun, and the Sjogren Shotgun): 1. The Winchester Model 1912 or "M12" for short. (Pump-Action. Can Hold Six 2 3/4" or Five 3" Shells, along with 3 different Calibers [12 Gauge, 16 Gauge, and 20 Gauge]. The M12 was also equipped with a Short Barrel, a Perforated Steel Heat Shield, and a Bayonet Lug for the M1917 Bayonet Knife. The 2. The Ithaca 37 (Pump-Action. Can Hold Four, Five, or Seven Shells, along with 4 different Calibers [12 Gauge, 16 Gauge, 20 Gauge, and 28 Gauge]. The Ithaca 37 Has a Barrel Length of 20 Inches for WWII Soldiers. Although, Some Ithaca 37 Shotguns for the US Navy Seals have a Ventilated Handguard and Bayonet Adapter [Could be modified in-game]). 3. The Browning Auto-5 (Semi-Auto. Can Hold 3+1 or 5+1 Shells, along with 3 types of Shells [12 Gauge, 16 Gauge, and 20 Gauge]. The BA-5 has a Barrel Length of 28 Inches. It was the first Semi-Auto shotgun to be mass produced, for which it was made from 1902 - 1998). 4. The Remington Model 10/10-A (Pump-Action. Can Hold 5+1 12 Gauge Shells. The Remington Model 10/10-A Has a Barrel Length of 30 Inches, but was Reduced to 23 Inches for Use in WWI and WWII. The In-Game Firearm/IRL Stats: For the Winchester Model 12 (I'll use the "Trench" Version). Action - Pump-Action. Caliber - 12 Gauge (5 to 6 Shells). Length - 1,017mm (40.04 Inches). Barrel Length - 520mm (20.63 Inches). Weight - 3.6 Kilograms (7.94 Pounds). Sights - N/A. Additional - Heat Shield, Rifle Sights, Extended Tube Magazine, M1917 Bayonet Lug. For the Ithaca 37. Action - Pump-Action. Caliber - 12 Gauge (4 to 5, and eventually 8 Shells). Length - 1,000mm (39.37 Inches). Barrel Length - 508mm (20 Inches). Weight - 3.3 Kilograms (7.28 Pounds). Sights - N/A. Additional - Heat Shield, Rifle Sights, Extended Tube Magazine, Bayonet Adapter. For the Browning Auto-5. Action - Semi-Auto. Caliber - 12 Gauge (3+1 or 5+1 Shells). Length - 1,270mm (50 Inches). Barrel Length - 711.2mm (28 Inches). Weight - 4.1 Kilograms (9.04 Pounds). Sights - N/A. Additional - Rifle Sights. For the Winchester Model 10/10-A. Action - Pump-Action. Caliber - 12 Gauge (5+1 Shells). Length - 1,041.4mm (41 Inches). Barrel Length - 584.2mm (23 Inches). Weight - 3.52 Kilograms (7.75 Pounds). Sights - N/A. Additional - Wooden Heat Shield, Rifle Sights, Extended Tube Magazine, M1917 Bayonet Lug.
I find it so sad that you have to say these are my opinions please be civil. I know what you have to say it but the fact ppl can’t just be civil anyways is so sad. This was a good video, you explained clearly your opinions and thoughts and I pretty much agree with your thoughts .
Is this ranking assuming no upgrade gems for all guns? If so I'd be curious to see your list when number of upgrade slots is taken into consideration too. And a ranking of the gems themselves.
I'll have to play with scopes on this and the Sten but my 100 rnd drum silenced Thompson will take a lot of beating. Default recoil on this was unusable i can full auto with little recoil using the Thompson and burst firing 20-30 people in a row never gets old.
While I agree with your mp44 analysis It does have 1 very important niche that its does best in, and that is invasions. One it it’s the only way for an invader to have a long-ish range weapon without glint. Two, it can max out at 77 dmg which is a very important threshold actually, I think 230 hp is what the player has(normally) 3 shots of 77 damage does 231, and that’s if you can’t line up a organ or headshot. That’s my personal take on the mp44 and where it shines
(angry MP44 nerd storms into the comment section) MP44 is best SMG in the game you- Nah I get it, watching your game play I see why you ranked it as low as you did. From an invader perspective using mouse and keyboard, I use the MP44 as a faux sniper because it doesn't have a scope glint. It's an ambush weapon that ideally only needs to fire one round per match. In this config I only use single shots and the Mauser pistol is the real SMG in this load out. When configured to be an assault rifle with a 2x scope, the MP44 is a savage beast capable of killing standard soldiers with three body shots in one accurate burst out to 100ish meters. Looking forward to the dlc weapon reviews! P.S. Oh yes the sten is still the best :D
You’re definitely a roleplayer. Every tryhard knows the STEN and STG44 are the best secondaries in the game since they both can have scopes and basically almost 0 recoil while aiming down sights and shooting. The Springfield and G43 are probably the worst rifles ever: the best ones are Kar98k and Mosin Nagant.
@@leviathan4277 Tf you mean the Springfield is one of the worse rifle ever?! It’s got the best range, best muzzle velocity, and the best variety of scopes out of all the rifles. Which are all qualities for making a great sniper rifle. Plus it also has good damage, and very manageable recoil. I’ve practically used this rifle in every game mode in every situation imaginable and not once has it ever disappoint.
@@Jknight416 I’m talking about multiplayer, where your range mostly won’t be more than 100 metres away. You simply don’t need a 16x scope on such ranges mate😂 Mosin and K98k for the go. Quickest movement, highest damage, aiming speed, velocity and stability. Don’t need anything else
If you’re going to do a ranking video of each base secondary weapon in SE5, shouldn’t you ought to highlight and showcase the strong suits of each weapon? Just ADSing each and every one of these secondary weapon in Third-Person instead of in First-Person in their naked form without any upgrades doesn’t exactly supports nor showcases why these weapons received the ranking placements that you gave them in this ranking video. Don’t forget that in SE5, guns with better Spread are generally better for aiming in third person while guns with better Aim Stability are better for aiming in First Person.
I am not sure if it is just because I am a multiplayer sweat and play games a lot. But with my insight. Personally. I am able to get an mp44 with 59 damage. With incredible fire rate. And if you use a scope there is NO spread accuracy. Making it actually move accurate than any other SMG except for Sten (my personal favorite) control could be difficult however. But low sense players can solve this by sticking only to 2x zoom, or putting damage higher to 65. Making every shot usually 2 or 3 shots. In short. If you're talking from a real world standpoint in guns used in 1944. Then you wont get a real life feel therefore no they are not the best. However if you simply do not care about that realism and just want something as overpowered as possible. Then scooped Sten or mp44 are wayyy above any other SMG it is not even close in my opinion. (It is easy to get 100+ meter accurate bursts with those guns with practice) (added input, you mentioned why do people use the mp44 like a sniper instead of just a real sniper.) In general, it is likely because you can get a 6x zoom with no glint, as well as this you can make it 77 damage (2 shot most cases sometimes even 1) In my personal experience, with my controlling of the gun, I can spray it like what you would do when someone is 5m away from you, but when they are 100 meters and still accurately hit and kill them. Now, I understand MY case is not easy to achieve, that is the reason for the in general idea being added. Cool input and video man thanks for the review. Of course. I intend no hate I respect your opinion completely.
Hi Zylox! I was coming down to the comments to say much the same thing :D I still love the MP44, but thanks to you I mostly use the sten these days. ~MP44 Junky
I have an affection for the MP44. With the proper config, you have a hard-hitting, accurate, quiet rifle, with impressive stats. Your "faux sniper rifle" is a great point, but you have the option to switch to automatic fire in third-person in close combat situations if surrounded. But I absolutely agree with the manic variability of the Sten. Again, I prefer the faux sniper setup.
My top 3 for survival hard difficulty 1st.fnab 2nd.Mkb 42 3rd.M30 drilling Also, ive gotten double kills of jagers in rifle mode with the drilling, frim a range of 10m, its powerful, some time i blow a hole through valkyries from 4m 8m
