@@opiedrums6969 meant to say export* but I figured out the problem, the samples needed to be longer, I added extra empty space at the end of the sounds and it works now.
Ypi can't import any sounds longer than like 20 seconds I believe (including songs) but you can plug your phone into it to play along to songs. You also have a USB on the back and can connect it to a computer. Although I haven't done that so I can't give you much advice on those situations
@@opiedrums6969 thanks! But do you know how to connect a phone? I tried it with a special cable for it and the app, but it didn't work out unfortunately.
@@fabifiren666 what didn't work? The app wouldn't open, or you couldn't hear anything? I find I have to run the audio mix knob pretty high and the master lower. Also you need to use the USB drive that looks like a house or one you'd use for a printer. Can't remember the actual name of it. Then use an adapter from USB to USB-C on the end of that.
So you could make multiple scenes with each sound you want. Them have the all assigned to the same pad in the different scenes. So when you go to the next scene it'll still be the same pad. Just a different scene and sound. You can also make them in order for how you use them in the gig so you're not flipping all around your scenes. Hope that makes sense.
@@spicylegato6024 most of what I have was bought used and I use for specific gigs. I play out most weekends. I'm in three bands so 🤷♂️ people must like my playing enough.
awesome vid... quick question, when you download your samples onto the EAD, how do you assign specific sounds from those samples to specific triggers. Lets say I have a snare sample, how do I assign it to my snare trigger instead of it triggering to another trigger. Also, is there any sensitivity settings you can mess around with for ghost notes? I’m trying to figure out if there’s anyway I can do dynamics using the EAD. Thanks!
Velocity and sensitivity are two different things. Sensitivity is more how much it takes to activate the trigger. Velocity is where ghost notes would come in. But in short no.
Damn dude you really played that incredibly well!!! We definitely have the same taste in cymbals. I owned very similar set to yours many years ago now,my EFX was the crash of DOOM!! Instead.
Opie, this cover iZ absolutely incredible! AZ a matter of fact, I'm going to use this particular version aZ my "definitive" version that I want to learn. I can't give a higher compliment than that 😆☕🥁🥁🥁🌃🚬
@@nissaniatrujillo I learned it years ago before RU-vid. I learned the chorus first. Then the versus. Just focus on one part at a time. Learn the kick pattern. Then the snare pattern. Then the hi hat work.
Another one adding things that aren’t there, off timing, wrong double bass! And the Break WAS ALL WRONG!!!! Listen to Meytal Cohen’s cover, you’ll learn something!!!!
@@brianmiller3750 yes she did, but they were very subtle and they went with the song and weren’t likely noticeable unless you really listened for them. Yours on the other hand were very noticeable and did not fit the song.
@@opiedrums6969 I don’t play drums, I play guitar. BUT, I’m smart enough to know, that while I know I’m good, I also know that there are thousands of guitarists that are better than me. No need to prove to anybody how good I am. I’m happy enough playing out EVERY WEEKEND. For me, all those people coming to see me is good enough for me!
