From an internet search: In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, you can unlock Super Shredder as the secret boss in Stage 9: Shredder by getting a high score. Your score is based on your speed, how often you get damaged, and the difficulty level. Even with a good score, unlocking Super Shredder is random, but a higher score increases your chances. If you're successful, the fight won't end when Shredder's health bar reaches zero, and a cutscene will play where the turtles try to deliver the final blow. Shredder will block the attack and transform, and Super Shredder will emerge from the dust.
You found a pretty good find to be honest. Especially since the DYRL DLC is on the game card already. I know you're a Robotech fan and you may be confused on stuff here but a brief rundown is that this was one of the 3 original series that Robotech used in their sagas. The thing is, after a while it became its own franchise in Japan, leaving Robotech to become a weird frankensteined project of the 80s. Honestly if you prefer watching it cause of nostalgia or preferring older animation, then it's the way to go. But if you like anime and want a semi-decent long series, then Macross is your best bet.

I have. It's a fun game with cell-shaded graphics. I still have the PS2 version. It follows the ROBOTECH Macross Saga and is much more accessible to the Western audiences, being that it is English voice cast and language.

The music has its own personality, and you can tell it only cares about how beautiful Eve is (and I mean beautiful overall, not just “she’s a hot girl with big bawbs”). Only in the boss fights it kind of remembers that the game takes place in an apocalyptic war 😅
