Jim Carrey to me makes sense because if Robotnik is anything he's definitely a showman, if he's taking over the world he's definitely going to let you know and to quote Megamind: "its all about Presentation!"
2 years late but i *THINK* 1981 is a reference to Sega's arcade history, they started in 1981 but it is weird they chose that when they could have chosen the Sega Master's release in 85 or just use Sonic's creation year for 1991
im pretty sure the pokey trout yogurt dialogue happens after you talk to the maid, who mentions trout yogurt. i was actually surprised that it was mentioned bc i got this on my first playthrough
Ever since I was a kid I considered mother 2/earthbound to be the worst of the 3 games. This hasn't changed but being reminded of all the hard work and love that went into mother 2 has reminded me why I used to be obsessed with it.
Turns out Earthbound was actually relatively popular back in the day, because I've run into SOOOOO many people who, like myself, played it as a kid. It just wasn't as popular as say, Super Mario World, or A Link to the Past, or Mega Man X.... but a heck of a lot more kids played it than EVO The Search for Eden, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, or Lost Viking 2, and those games aren't even the rarest, most obscure titles. Apparently, Earthbound was made in comparatively large quantities, and while it wasn't a massive hit upon initial release, it definitely got around in the rental and second hand market. It just wasn't as big of a hit as it was in Japan, nor as Nintendo was hoping for.
To get the trout yogurt line to trigger you have to get the monkey to crash into the building but before talking to the monkey u have to go talk to Electra outside the dept store then pokey.
*Why does no one talk about the Special RARE Snake enemy encounter, that levels you up a massive amount in the beginning in the game?* *Am I the only one that found it? Is it a Japanese Super Famicom exclusive enemy encounter?* *I never find any videos about it!* 😑
To correct cybershell Theres 3 Games that require The expansion pack Manjora's mask and DK64 AND perfect dark(YOU CAN only play a limited Ver of the game with out it so its HARD required even says it on the box)
the mere fact that this videos comment section is still alive and active after 7 fucking years is crazy, whats funnier is that the debate wether sonic 4 is ass or not is still going on.
The thing that suprises or interests me the most about this video is the fact Cybershell doesn't like Sonic Advance or Rush. It's the first time I've seen someone not like those games. That deserves a video in it of itself.
I had the game and the included strategy guide.. so the hint man was absolutely pointless. So.. in my many playthroughs I tried to write down EVERY hint he would ever give you. From the first time you meet him, to doing his hints and then INSTANTLY rushing back to him. When you first see the monkey... ask the hint man.. "The monkey got burnt.. is he okay?" Yep I was bored but just wanted a complete list. You can also put the exit mouse in the locker and if you talk to the mother mouse, and you agree to take one of her sons with her, she will say. "didn't you leave my son with someone?"
4:24 UNPLAYABLE bruh's brain is so stupid and just because the sprite isn't in sonic 2 and it doesn't happen in the christen whitehead version wow just jerk man
Good video but the style felt too close to AVGN. Felt more like a roast than an actual review of the product. If you want to hear an actual review where they talk about both the positives and the negatives on Sonic 4 I'd recommend J's reviews video on it.
Shows like Breaking Bad and especially Better Call Saul I think are great for repeat viewings because there generally *are* things the viewer misses or might not piece together. Especially when things become clearer in later episodes. Sometimes it makes the shows better to watch, sometimes it makes it… maybe less good. Also, using the Hint Man instead of going online reminds me of talking to NPCS in Sonic Adventure instead of using Tikal
wow, very interesting; I never knew you could take the library book back at the end - that is so cool the happy happy village cow was new to me also - it's crazy I've played this game when it came out and never knew about that. I remember some of the 4th wall interactions; like the dog in twoson.
