This channel will have my electrical and pressure experiments. I've been following RU-vid users previously on another channel, but created this one because I wanted to upload electrical videos as well. I was ConkersBFDN64, Photonicinduction mentioned me in a few of his videos. The basic things I use are my 30 amp Variac, and an information panel I put together that includes a: Voltmeter, Ammeter, Fuse, and Rectifier.
I also occasionally work on small engines, Outdoor Power Equipment, and most often, cars. I have a channel for that too, it's listed below.
We have one of these in our shop and we run straight diesel in it and it works fine. Alternatively you could run 1 of gallon of gasoline and 4 gallons of diesel, I think 5 gallons is about what what ours holds ... haven't tried it but old videos seem to say it's possible.
If you measure the voltage across the battery while connecting the long wire you essentially have a battery load tester. You will be measuring the voltage drop across the internal resistance of the battery and this effectively tells you the Cranking Amps of the battery via Thevenin's Theorum and Ohm's Law.
Thanks for the video have 3 of these lights that I’m going to covert to driest wire LED bulbs. Normally I just have to remove the ballast and wire up the tombstones accordingly. Looks like I’ll have to do a few extra step on these.
I'm trying to follow what you are saying but you speak very fast and then Don't show where the part is or where you took it out from. Just dummy down a bit for people that Don't understand.
You should drain the fuel out (there should be a removable plug on the bottom) and put some clean fuel in it and add 1 ounce of stabil per gallon to clean it out while it's running. Probably check the filter and replace it if need be.
I guess one could just buy a capacitor if one doesn't have a bad fixture to scavenge from? One side of my grow light fixture went bad and everything is growing lobsided! LOL I don't want to buy a whole new fixture since one side still works.
I did this on burnt out #55 7.5v bulbs out of pinball machines using a 240v primary transformer with a 6v secondary connected to a 25v secondary transformer. The resulting 900 some volts arced across the broken ends of the filaments and lit a silvery blue. After a minute or so the inside of the bulb would get coated with blue from the blue plastic bead that was the lead in wire separator. Then the separators would bend over and snuff out the arc😂

have a old 1960'S master torpedo heater, HAS NO SUCH SAFETY SHIT ON IT, it either works or it will just keep PUMPING THE HOME HEATING OIL INTO IT... Don't believe in the safety shit, i will make sure DADDY MATTY I burn the house down just for you.... And yes daddy matty i burn 100% pump gas in the torpedo heater and works very very well. i do not put in DIESEL just plain straight GAS straight from the pump!!! make sure you do the same, it will help heat the house better to....
