I absolutely love my SBGA211 Snowflake. The craftsmanship is second to none. My only complaint is the poor after sales customer service I have received from Grand Seiko in the US. Not on par with what your brand projects and frankly quite disappointing.
Grand Seiko is almost the only brand where i belive, and want to belive, the connection between product and emotion. GS conveys real spirit with thier watches. I hope on day, i´ll be able to afford one.
Hey Seiko, I hear a lot of comments that don’t like your bracelet because it lacks micro adjustments. I suggest you put a rolex like micro adjustment system on all seiko watch, not just grand seiko, But all seikos watches.
Where in EU is still available? Can you tell me why it’s not possible to get it in boutiques and re-sellers have many??? The same stupid way as Swiss producers….WHY?!
Despite the advantages of the SBGC253 watch, I'm not satisfied with it and have sold it... 1. Pushers wobble in the housing (too much play) 2. The claps are not solid enough 3. Spring Drive indicator is only "printed" and not 3D-engraved 4. Price of 13.400€ too expensive compared to other cheaper models that using the same spring drive caliber. Don't get me wrong, I´m a fan of Japanese craftsmanship and Grand Seiko, but the above-mentioned issues are not in line with self-imposed quality standards.
Grand Seiko is the greatest watch-brand. The technological innovations & unique aesthetic beauty is second to none. I had the privilege of visiting Wako Ginza and purchasing the SBGA375 last year. Every morning, there is a huge sense of pride and honour when I wear it on my wrist. Naito-san sir, congratulations on the outstanding 2024 releases
I hope that in the future Grand Seiko will produce a movement that supports the outsized big date feature, both calibers 9s 9f 9r, but it seems that for the time being the calibers that are going up are 9r and 9s, especially from the development of the base caliber 9sa5, I also like the power reserve indicator feature ,,, good job for grand Seiko
If we assume the main beats are quarter notes, as they usually are, the extra ticks would be 1/32nd notes not 1/16th notes. I like everything else about it but it bothers me that they wrote “1/16th note feel” on it.
