The sight of the green deckers from a long bygone Sydney certainly garnered a lot of interest It was great seeing their minds visibly blown away by these motorised art pieces, not used to the sight of vehicles with so much character to them.
I cannot believe how long the S sets have been gone. Felt like it was a year ago when literally it was 3 years and 4 months. How time flies. This video gives memories on the days I rode on them.
I really miss 2015 it was one of the best years of life. I extremely loved our public transport system the way it was so much back then. Much better than the future.
Interesting video showing a variety of trains. The double deckers look & sound impressive. Great to see an XPT going reasonably fast for a change, the sound of the rear power car is reminiscent of an old Spitfire going by haha (which of course also had a V12 engine) 0:18
hii, can i use your video on my TV Program channel? i am a one of the creative team at TRENDING TRANS7 and of course your channel youtube's name will published too i'm waiting for your feedback, thank you..
I certainly do. Being a shunter in Sydney Yard / Terminal, I enjoyed the shunting movements of both AM & PM trains. Detaching & attaching the motor car carrier(s) and also to allow the engines (Sydney end) to be placed in the Middle roads of 1 & 2. I enjoyed watching the departure of both these trains leaving Sydney Terminal. This also includes the Inter-Capital Daylight express as well.
They still do, just because of Coronavirus they are used less, they are normally used by the Indian Pacific, now its just for locos hauling test trains which are even more rare than the indian pacific, you will get lucky if you see that happen though.
