Hello! As long as the levels are maintained, everything should be fine. But, if the levels arent balanced, the salt can corrode the marcite finish because the water would become too acidic for the finish. What was meant by adding calcium was that there would just be calcium build up over time. Thanks for commenting!
Unfortunately, we do not service or install any gunite pools, so when it comes to pool plaster, we arent experts in that field. However, the color of the pool that you are referring to is called Graphite Gray. Hope that helps you out!
Hello! We use french drains to control flooding and runoff. We also have drainage around the patio since it is pitched which allows water to run down into the drain, keeping your patio drier
Hi There I am in Canada and we get cold long winters here so how hard is those temperatures drastic changes on Fiberglass pools if any cold winters hot summers over a long period of time?
Great question! Fiberglass pools are known for their structural stability, so from long winters to hot summers, your pool will be just fine! Of course, there is a little maintenance to do, but it isn't much at all.
Hi Jamie, I have a leisure pool and it’s about 3 years old and I am having issues with calcium build up in certain area of the pool wall. Can you please give me some advice on treating the calcium build up? Thanks
Every project has different pricing. The size of the pool, size of the patio, if there is rock in the ground that needs to be removed, etc. We would love to help you out! Head over to our website and schedule a consultation: www.albertgrouplandscaping.com
Great question! Now, we arent expert scientists, but here is what we know. The harder your water, the more calcium in the water. Water evaporates, which in Texas, it evaporates way faster than it does here in New York. So, you keep adding more calcium into your pool. Calcium deposits build up and can cause maintenance issues that could be only a little cleanup or cost you money for repairs to your equipment, liner, filtration, etc. You should inspect your pool regularly to avoid this, especially in Texas. Hope this helps!
Something is not right with that setup then, Sounds like too much chlorine was being produced. I've seen it happen when a salt system was set to max output and the client went on vacation for one month with the automatic cover closed. The sun is part of your pool chemistry. Dumping some water and adding fresh water fixed it fast. To answer your question, the water should feel great and have a very light chlorine smell.
Thanks for commenting! Everyone has their own preference when it comes to the size of a pool in their backyard. Some homeowners want a large pool to swim in and hang out, some want a pool that doesn't take up a lot of space. In this case, it is the best of both worlds!
Hello! In this case, we would take the previous pool out of where it is located and put a fiberglass pool in. In terms of our pool sizes, our website lists many different pools in many different sizes. Feel free to check it out! The link is in the description.
very informative - but the last stage of capping was omitted... I was interested in this element - how much cement around? how deep etc apart from that, good.
Great question and thank you for your interest in our process! We're glad you found our information helpful. Regarding the capping stage details, these are part of our proprietary techniques and are not publicly disclosed to maintain our product's uniqueness. We appreciate your understanding and continued interest!
Hi, do you have any recommendation for a lap pool that can be constructed on a flood-prone area? I'm just thinking if the main roads and sewage are flooded the water comes back to the pool's drainage system.
I think this is my 3rd or 4th time watching this video. You explain things thoroughly and I truly enjoyed the work that you guys have done. The project came out great. The owner(s) of the pool and bbq island and fire pit do have great taste. And I love those large concrete tiles that were used for the floor and the bbq island. Congratulations job well done.
Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us! Currently, we service the Hudson Valley region of New York for pool installation, but we do construct gunite pools in Connecticut. If you live outside these areas, please still contact us at AlbertGroupPools.com and we can send over your information to the nearest local dealer in your area!
