This channel has three main focuses, the first one is my natural hair journey...I've had it all! From relaxed hair in 2009, to a mohawk, to then going natural back in 2012, then shaving all my hair in 2015, getting locs in 2016 and shaving them all off in January 2018. Now I am growing back my fro!!
The second focus is my pregnancy and becoming a first time mum 💛
When 80 percent of your hair turns out like this but them the 20 percent is as resistant as the Sudanese Revolution 😢 and its directly centered in the back😭😭😭😭
. There are hundreds of thousands of black Brits who have a deep knowledge of our history. I have taken kids to the slave museum in Liverpool on several occasions and every time they talk about what they learned for months . There is evidence of black history in the U.K. everywhere if you are interested to find out. There are 5 museums in the U.K. that focus on Slavery, colonialism and imperialism and the contributions of black people to the U.K. and numerous exhibitions at various times of the year. There is an exhibition right now where I live and my Mom was recently interviewed about her experiences of coming to the U.K. as a teenager and what life was like. Many black teachers and support staff fought to have black history month on the curriculum, I know because I was one of them. Schools now incorporate the contributions of black people as part of the curriculum. Of course it’s not perfect and there is lots of room to improve but many black people have worked tirelessly to get where we are now.
