Welcome to the world of flat twists!!! So as someone who learned to twist before I learned to braid how is it for you who learned to braid first and now your twisting on RU-vid? Because of you braiding became sooo much easier for me and now I'm like your flat twisting too just makes this such a cool full circle moment!!! (Actually squealing with excitement)

Why thank you!! Ah I'm glad I could help with your braiding! Flat twisting to me is very similar, so I found it easy to get the hang of it. I did take me a moment to make sure that they weren't too loose though

I found your videos yesterday and I am obsessed! Your story is similar to mine.. I've been doing my own hair since 10 or 11 as well! Our head is shaped similar and I also have a widows peak lol the styles you do are styles I wish could do but I can't part like that or braid that small lol anyway love love love your channel! 7:29 yup! I’ve found when I looked at the twists just in general I notice they look more uniform as a twist when they’re medium-ish or larger and then when braiding on myself my smaller braids look better and I can grip better, but I don’t like small braids. 😭 And that’s so weird to me but yea it’s the opposite.
