I have an adjustable shower chair that I discovered really comes in handy when doing henna treatments, I have back issues and simply cannot throw my head over the tub or sink while standing , it worked out beautifully and it barely stained my tub and afterwards I simply used a tub cleaner and there's hardly a trace!😉
Would that timing and method work for the chestnut brown if my hair is brown already? I ALSO have a very few grays. I dyed my hair using your products henna and indigo together but hair turned witth a beautiful brown but the grays didn't cover at all. So I am wondering if do the 2 step process will cover the grays better, the think is I don't want to get a black tone. 🫢
Hii I have Hibiscus powder and also have Dry Hibiscus flowers... I have a very Long hair , I Used 200gm of Henna but I'm confused about the quantity of Hibiscus powder i should mixt on my henna.... ?? I want Red tone for my hair... Confused about the Ratio of Henna: Hibiscus= ??
FYI , these herbs were native to Sub Continent, which is now Pakistan n India . I'm 40, and even my aunts n grandmother's have been used them 😊 e.g. Cassia is called senna , bhringraj isncalled bhangra siyah( black) n others have the same names in pakistan . N yes, Shikakai is pronounced Sikakai .....love your blends❤
So I already have fairly dark brown hair. It is very dark at the roots but I just find it gets duller/slightly red/lighter towards the ends. If I go in with just indigo will it just give me the VERY dark brown/black I'm looking for? Or do I need to do the henna step as well.
We recommend our cowash instead as this is color-safe and you can use our soapnut clarifying shampoo before henna hair dye and cowash after indigo. We recommend doing shampoo after 48 hours. Jamila is SO MOISTURISING. IT’S like a HAIR MASK! I’m always saddened and surprised when people say their Henna Application left their hair leaving rough and dry! Have only ever used Jamila. Apply it weekly!
I purchased the Moroccan henna months ago after you shared that the dye release is within 2 hours. It took me so long to finally do my hair with it, five days ago. I popped the leftover right into the freezer. You should have definitely put that on the packaging. Can I still use it for coloring because it also has Red Raj and Rajasthani powders in the mask. Also, after the 3 day waiting period, what conditioning treatment would you recommend?
Soapnut really makes my curls pop, but it is so drying on my hair and makes my hair kinda tangled. What am I doing wrong? Would oiling my hair with Amal prior to cleansing help?
No I usually use Rizos deep conditioner, which does help put moisture back into the hair but my hair still stays kinda tangled. Maybe it’s not the right mix with this bar. I’ve never used any conditioner other than the condition cowash, didn’t realize you sold a conditioner that went with that bar
@@Authenticsade Heat damage is hard to repair and we recommend you allow it to grow out and slowly trim away. In the meantime, there is some maintenance that can help through the use of a steamer and our deep conditioning products. Our Moroccan Argan Serum: ttps://hennasooq.com/products/argan-oil-serum is also amazing at hydrating the hair and repairing and protecting the hair strands. You may want to also use our restorative mask. hennasooq.com/products/hibiscus-restorative-hair-mask. We hope this helps!

Hi HennaSooq - not sure if you check comments on old videos, but I post this here incase you do or some of your audience could help me troubleshoot a recent issue I had with a cassia & amla treatment. I ask here because I think it is a question on whether Amla affect color - like in the video title too. I've done cassia & amla treatments, yesterday being my third time doing it. I feel that it makes my hair feel stronger and fuller and I don't mind some of the golden hues being imparted. I understood that Amla is acidic which can be helpful for cassia but also will help neutralise overly brassy tones. I understand both shouldn't be used with hard water and it should only have any coloring affect temporarily - except that suddenly yesterday my results were that some ends of my hair were left a purplish blackish color. My question are 1) why did this happen & 2) how to get rid of this unwanted color. In terms of 2 - getting rid of the color - it seems like I'm having some success after double shampooing the black areas once with a normal shampoo and again with a chelating one within the first 12 hours after the treatment, then leaving lemon juice on the dark ends for more than 12 hours and going out in the sun during that time. After that I have noticed some parts look more like an ashy darker brown, but definitely no more black. I've rinsed out the lemon juice and am sitting with a leave in conditioner for a while now and hoping more is gone - but because I never expected this to happen and didn't know why it did, I was initially really afraid that the results could be permanent. Back to question 1 - why did this happen? I never had such an affect before... a few things to note, I mistakenly might have mixed more of a 2:1 cassia-to-amla powder this time though I did mix it very well. secondly, I had extra mix from the last time I made this and thought it was safe to reuse, so my mix for this treatment had a small part of the leftover treatment mixed with new treatment. The leftover treatment I had frozen, then thawed by placing the bowl it was in in a bowl of warm water for maybe an hour or two before I added new cassia powder, amla powder, and distilled water. I will say small note, the ends of my hair that ended up blackish initially were generally less healthy and older strands of hair - but some ends were only black on the tips while maybe two strands had black going halfway up the shaft - it was very worrying that I could find SO LITTLE on the effects of amla on color and troubleshooting how this could have happened. I have been searching furiously for the last day, but still no answers. Even if i cannot find more answers in the next weeks, I will never plan to save extra mixture in the future and I'll be very careful with the amount of amla to cassia in the future (maybe I'll even not use any amla next time...)
While amla is often used to neutralize brassy tones, its acidity can also interact with other substances in your hair or the environment, especially if mixed in higher ratios. In your case, the 2:1 cassia-to-amla ratio might have contributed to the unexpected results, particularly if the amla overpowered the cassia's lighter tones. You mentioned that the ends of your hair were generally less healthy and older. Hair that is more porous or damaged can absorb color differently, leading to unexpected results, such as a more pronounced dark or purple hue. As you mentioned, be mindful of the ratio of cassia to amla in future applications. You might try omitting amla for a while to see if that helps achieve the desired color without unexpected outcomes. Before applying new treatments in the future, especially if you're changing the ratios or ingredients, consider doing a strand test to see how your hair reacts. If the color continues to fade with your current efforts, you may find that your hair settles into a more neutral tone over time. If the purplish tint remains stubborn, you might consider consulting a professional stylist for tailored advice. Good luck, and we hope you achieve the beautiful hair color you desire!

Hello! We highly recommend the Ayurvedic Strength and Growth regimen to start hennasooq.com/products/ayurvedic-hair-strength-and-growth-6-week-regimen.
Henna sooq, I’m very interested in buying henna from you but does the product stain your clothes or anything days or weeks after it’s been applied? I’ve never used henna before so I want to know if it continues to bleed color after wards
After applying henna, it can stain your skin, clothes, and surfaces. It's advisable to wear old clothing or a cape while applying to avoid any unwanted stains. Henna typically does not bleed color after it's fully set and dried. Once the henna has been rinsed out and the color has developed, it generally remains stable in the hair. However, if you wash your hair frequently with harsh shampoos or products, it may affect the longevity of the color.
Using henna can naturally enhance and brighten red hair. It can add warmth and depth to your natural color. For redder tones you may add our hibiscus petal powder, beet juice, red tea or paprika.
I haven't used Henna Sooq products but I really want to try. I have seen many positive reviews about it. So, therefore I would love to use Henna Sooq's hair products. Thanks for giving us a chance to win.
