Light fighting in the difficulty "IMPOSSIBLE": 10 Icon's 20 Khan Mekyrs, 2 Dark Lords 100 Tyrants, and all the regular demons also spawn times 1000, also the only weapon you get is the pistol from 2016
I think it’s safe to say Andrew is definitely worthy of taking over for Mick. Even in the trailer for The Dark Ages the music already sounded so goated.
Well the ending to this game is sort of already out no? It will end with the demons droping an entire temple on Doomguy, sealing him in the coffin we rise out of in 2016.
Not necessarily, Doomguy was killing demons for a long ass time before they were able to get him, any number of whacky adventures could have a happened in that time.
The World Spear eyes are way too different for me to claim a connection, like the turret demon from the dlc. I was thinking the same thing but that wouldn't make much sense. Maybe eyes in general are indicative of the creatures creating Primevals perhaps? I don't see any other connection which is why I didn't mention it in the video but I hear ya. We'll probably see proto-Marauders, before becoming so grey and skeletal-looking. The gunners in the trailer ARE Marauders but they're basic fodder enemies.
The mars part you were talking about is probably the lost city of hebeth mentioned in the BFG 10k mission because you can see some sort of portal in the background I think that’s it if I’m wrong point out what I missed
Watched another video that mentioned this earlier today, unless there are Sentinel bases on Mars we don't know about this is most likely Hebeth. Doubt there's anything else considering this is just a barren planet with only one hell rift and Hebeth was just a singular crosswalk kind of city meant for easy slipgate access. It would also make sense since this is where we use the Atlan, which is all the way on D'nur, and would require a big portal Hebeth could certainly provide to be transported.
I'm not sold on it being Hebeth, the tech is too different. We saw Hebeth in Eternal and it didn't look like that. Plus, Sam called it "the LOST city", and it didn't look very lost to me.
@@boneor...7022 Well that IS when it gets lost in the trailer, if that is Hebeth. It was completely buried in Eternal, only accessible after shooting the planet with the BFG 10K, but several things can happen in pre-history for that to occur and get lost after it's deemed inaccessible. If you want a wild theory on this, it could be the Icon of Sin that successfully warped reality enough on there that it ends up below the crust through various means. But I have to agree that the "LOST" in there is a pretty strong point for disagreeing, might have to think this through more.
That's right man! I had a livestream on the old channel that included my voice while in the Blood Swamps with chat but that's lost media at this point.
Small update to add up to this video: The colloseum we see has a ceiling made out of the gigantic rib cage of whatever the creature on top of it was. This ties the final dragon shots and that building together, so it is my personal belief that this is where the dragon is obtained and perhaps even fought. Additionally, like I mentioned, at least the first cutscene of the dragon is pre-rendered, perhaps hinting at the lack of skins at least for the Slayer this time around (or the ability to equip them in the campaign). Again, apologies for the hard to understand voice. Let me know of your thoughts on this and what wild theories you have so far.
@@knightmareslayer1386 Empyrean, yeah me too. That was actually my favorite map to play on, lots of open space and unobstructed views that allowed for sniping.
Glad ta hear it man. The community has been extremely useful and resourceful with what we have so far and pretty much every Doom RU-vidr I follow has added something to my understanding of the trailer (even if most of that has been after recording this video). We're getting a banger of a prequel, I have complete trust in ID.
@@anecro I have full trust myself , the music also just sounds amazing in general andrew hulshult and (not sure if david levy is also there making it ) but either way they or he is feeling mick shoes perfectly Doom eternal was my first pre order and dark ages is shaping up to be my second cant wait
@@heliax9924 Levy has sadly confirmed he's not working on this, it's just Andrew this time around. I'm definitely preordering as well. If the deluxe edition is good enough I might go for that one too, assuming I've managed things super tightly.
@@anecro thats a shame, love his tracks his synths mainly were my favourite part of his work But either way i know andrew will cook hard with the soundtrack if any doom fan deserves a chance at a mainline doom game its him and yeah its ganna be really damm expensive(Welcome to modern gaming) but i barelly buy games nowdays so i be fine i wish the same to you on that
The fact that David Levy isn't coming back for The Dark Ages is so sad man. His tracks in TAG were the best. I hope Andrew can pick up some of the synth work in his absence for TDA. Why can't ID just keep composers ffs...
Mick Gordon was so overrated. Any RU-vid gen Z soy boy guitarist could do that dubstep djent crap. Ideally, Doom should have actual Thrash metal composed by someone like Joel Grind. But this Static X thing Andrew is doing is properly heavy and still a’million times better than Mick’s non-metal garbage.
