Just found your channel, great vid! I knew what you had the second you pulled the wheels out of the box! I just rebuild an old Traxxas Nitro Hawk that I bought new in 1995. I replaced the original Image .12 with a Trx Pro .15 and I love it!
Thank you for the content! Did that help with them breaking? I have a rustler vxl 4x4 and put on proline badlands 2.8's, I dropped pinion gear down to 10t and immediately broke two back ones... Too much torque..? Idk?? Thoughts..??
Dam really? If that was me I wouldn't feel too comfortable having the pinion and spur gear mesh unevenly like that. Maybe you need to turn that pinion around to mesh with the spur gear flushed evenly.
I have an orange one 3d printed like yours thats broken to pieces in my trx4 blazer. That kind of 3d printed plastic is way to brittle in my opinion.. Thanks for sharing.
When adding weight the front needs to be heavier than the rear especially with a suv body. Adding overdrive will help squat the suspension and un load the rear tire
Mine holds up just fine to about a 50/50 mix of high speed terrain pulls and skatepark bashing. Shredded the original body in a month or so and had the brute on it since, with the roof skid and tailgate skid
Do you think this is a good first buggy??/ for an advanced driver who mainly drives on road and monster trucks...but would like to try buggies??? pros/cons???
So I did the same thing today I was doing some rigger running why a little bit of jumping but a lot of grass running and pavement running and mine snapped in the middle of a speed run down hill with no bumps how does that even happen
Your side hilling is not much. Your tire's sidewalls are too soft. You need a stiffer 2-stage foam or some anti-foams so your tire doesn't roll under. You will get a lot more side hill capability if you fix the side walls from rolling over. I use antifoams and can go almost 40 degrees sidehilling.
You not need to do that mess . 🤣 Takes only 4 large screws n 2 smaller screws to take out the 4 shocks. And that's it's i don't know why you lose to may time 😜
Wow! I am so glad I found your video! You saved me a bunch of money! I was going to go full aluminum housings and all… Now I know I am just going to buy the front and rear outer aluminum cases… as my rig is a LCG with added TRX4 locker axles….. THANK YOU! Subbed, liked…
