Yeah this was my thought too, having stripped the threads I had already drilled right through and nut and bolted it from the bottom, so there's no way it can pull that off

@@jaypearce6199 do you have a pic of where you nut and bolted it ive also stripped out 2 of my bolts that hold the cush drive shaft

@@iShootFast I've only ever had a belt snap one, but I was pulling a cart across sand so that was user error.

Yea ive had mine on for 3 years now and still using the original belt on a Castle 2028 setup and its been awesome.

@@jaypearce6199 That's awesome man, I'm glad to hear it. I have no experience with the beltdrive on RC. But I do hear stories. Based on those stores i came to this assessment.., and metaphor. My dad's been a machinist all my life + 15 or 20 years. I am by no means a machinist. But I am in the works of doing something right now which is how and why I came across your belt drive system. It is the most monumentis thing I've ever done in the garage. I've been around machinist tools my whole life. Based on my 1st comment, I'm sure you know what it is im up to. I appreciate your reply. I also appreciate that you unlike most, took it very maturely and not as a slap in the face. Which of course I did not mean. When I get finished I'll update you. I was going to leave a picture or two of kind of what I'm up to, but I fail to see how I can upload even a single picture on a comment. I suppose I'll have to make a short video. Was your motor mount bolts to the motor completely leveled? Does it matter?

Ah that sucks, the belt drive system is available here in the U.K I'm sure they will ship worldwide, its worth an ask. They can supply mounts etc too. facebook.com/groups/2265298920388134/

I've found it to be quiter, less stress on the drive system as the belt will flex slightly, faster exeleration and better breaking due to them being so much lighter than gears, also the lightness factor means they don't carry so much inertia that they slip and come lose on the shaft, I got so fed up of my pinions spinning loose no matter how tight you do the grub screw.

I wonder if they have any set up for erevo 2.0. I am constantly tightening grub screws on that one.

@@jaypearce6199 yeah my friends xmaxx kept doing that. I think we changed pinions and it have been ever fine since. The tiny grub screws can be a twatt, not so much meat on them

They use toothy belts on some pretty high power stuff. My motorcycle have over 100 hp and weighs 500 lbs, dry. Never broken a belt or had is slip. Of course the bikes belt is larger, but I bet scaled down this belt system is just as strong.

Definitely the best upgrade so far for me

How many runs do you get out a belt ?

quieter and cooler running, less transfer of heat, vibrations, cogging, etc. hope that helps.

I'm not actually sure but I would say probably not.
