Does using the jig to drill it out do anything without the upgraded slug kit? I bought the jig thinking that was all I needed. PS, would love a tear down video.
@@stevez4600 Thank you for your purchase. It really depends on which caliber. You have and how much power you're looking for the drill.Jig works great for the 22 & 25 Depending on how much power you're looking for. Keep in mind to drill out your barrel. And I believe I have a video Showing a minor modification to the factory valve body. If you don't get the result you're looking for keep in mind , you could always purchase the upgraded Valve. In the future.
@@northeastverminhunters Great it'll be exciting to see the numbers. I have another video on doing your barrel work it really shoots the N S.A. 29 grain excellent !!
To have more power with the port mods you allready did, i think you need to find a way to add a bigger plenum somehow(the fx impact has a big power plenum and that is the difference) 1. You have modified the port to be able to transfer more volume of air up behind the slug 2. Adjust the hammer so that the port valve releases more air to the barrel 3. Mount a bigger plenum(somehow) and adjust regulator pressure to get more plenum pressure to help with shot consistency/precision to handle the bigger power/velocity output. 4. The long barrel it already has, so that the air pressure can push the pellet/slug for longer time to achieve more power/velocity. 5. All the mods that can be made is now done, now the right adjustments need to be done so the gun shots as powerful and precise as possible. The only way to achieve the most raw power/velocity is to make all the above mods, and to completely remove the regulator and have almost free flow of air from the bottle. Then the air goes straight from the bottle(the higher bottle pressure the better) - through the drilled and flow optimized transfer port - and then to the barrel. Make sure the hammer hits hard on the valve so that it stay open for long as possible. The accuracy would end up to be shit, and the bottle would empty fast.

@richardkilpatrick9501 I'm making some changes to it. I just think it's gonna be too difficult for most people to drill into the side of their gun for the allen screws I just need to finish up my R&D stay tuned all put one up on ebay
Damn good job as usual sir!👍 Sadly the Zelos barrel doesn't have a good barrel for slugs😭 The ONLY airguns that there is that shoots any slugs or pellets bullseye accurately with incredible power is the AEA line of Challenger and Challenger Pro's💥
@chrisfigueroa3361 I will. I will make a video on that. The accuracy isn't all that great with slugs. After 75 yd, the group's really open up. I'm not sure if it's not enough twist in the barrel. What little I shot pellets seem to be fine. Thanks for your comment
I would, and others would really enjoy your videos if you would record in horizontal format. From a viewers perspective, your more educating if we can SEE what you are sharing with us. I end up not wanting to watch when in this format. Thank you for your efforts. I do own a Zelos.
Thank you for your great work. Could you please provide the link to buy the power kit , guide and upgraded valve? Would love to buy it directly off you as I am in UK and ebay is not even showing your store. Much appreciated. Thank you Paul. Rob
Oh good question. I only shoot slugs, but if you turn your reg pressure down far enough, And you might need to hog out the back stock to back out your hammer far enough. Thanks for the question
