Great video Feel like I’m watching the video in slow motion lol also would be nice if you let your co-host maybe share some of her insight 50/50 vrs 99% you and 1% her
No reason to pay full price for these. I find both at thrift stores and yard sales all the time. I only bought the griddle but I think I will pick up the waffle maker as well. I'm keto and I eat one HUGE duck egg mixed with a heaping Tb of cottage cheese every morning. I add whatever else sounds good for seasoning. It's so much better than just a fried egg. Light and fluffy!
I just got a regular mini waffle maker. Mine is purple. It was $10 at Target. They also had red, and blue colors. I also seen other dash products there when I got mine. They had the mini waffle maker with the heart shaped plate for Valentine’s Day, hard boiled egg maker, portable blenders, and a sandwich maker. The portable blender, boiled egg cooker and sandwich maker were more expensive than the mini waffle makers. A friend recommended two mini waffle cookbooks to me I got one of them from Amazon that hasn’t came in the mail yet. I can’t wait to try making more things with mine.
I agree with you both. I love Universal Yums!! My Grandma always said, "You get what you pay for." So after a lot of research I landed on UY. I also love the Yum Shoppe.
I add a muffin mix in with my pancake mix to add a little sweetness to my kiddo’s waffles since we don’t use syrup on them. Or add some coconut to the pancake mix. Makes excellent little waffles. I was looking at biscuit mix yesterday. Didn’t buy but want to try it. I want to try cinnamon roll type dough in there.
i just came across your channel and got new ideas. i have the waffel one as that was what they had at the beginning. i love it and love the crispiness. i stopped spraying mine as they dont stick and less messy.
The cactus jelly definitely seems like something I'd enjoy, because I'm half Mexican, and cactus is a staple food there, plus I do love eating the cactus fruit by itself, so I imagine a jelly wouldn't taste too dissimilar
Thank you for making some non-keto recipes! My mini waffle maker should arrive tomorrow and I was beginning to think there was some law that you must make eggy keto recipes.
Enjoyed your video. These little minis maker's are cool Suggestion: Try Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian can biscuits & their canned Cornbread muffins. Thanks! ;)
I've used my waffle maker for almost a month, with the intention of snacking. Yesterday I added a little chocolate cake mix to the pancake mix. Great results. I also tried out pizza dough from mix. And, oh yes, made waffles from one of those inexpensive packets of banana nut bread, to which you just add water. Again, great results. My new Dash mini griddle and mini bundt maker came last week and I have yet to use them.
I have several DASH appliances, including a couple mini waffle makers But I just recently bought a griddle and mini bundt cake maker, at Aldi which came out with dupes of the Dash mini makers, for only 7.99. So excited to try them out.
The pre-Ottoman origin of Baklava is unknown. But in modern times it is a common dessert of Turkish, Iranian and Arab cuisines. Plus other countries of the Levant and Maghreb, along with the South Caucasus, Balkans, and Central Asia.
Rusk is a type of biscuit as the Brits call them. More commonly referred to as cookies in the US and probably other places. The waffle thing with the caramel filling or whatever it was is basically a stroopwaffle.
Love the video especially seeing what you guys thought about my countries candies also the snacks and everything with it definitely has me booked into watching more of your stuff!
I love rice and I use my griddle maker and it always comes out perfect. I also make muffins on griddle maker. It looks just like your griddle maker my has a small pot.
I'm getting three of the Universal Yums for the literature for my nieces (aged 10-12) for Christmas. I thought it'd be a really cool way to introduce them to different cultures through food, as well as teach them a bit about a different country. That little bit of extra culture you're getting in the box makes the price worth it for me.
Loved your video. One of my fave things is to use both. Make 2 waffles and then fry an egg. I like to add baby spinach and cheese topped with ham. Then make a breakfast sandwich. So yummy 😋.
Isprz them with oil once and that’s it everything I’ll comes off right away and very easy to clean it without so that grease!! I have 2 waffle makers to spread things up.
