Another interesting trip to a country through a goodie box. By the way, a rusk is a piece of sweet dried bread that is baked dry and hard. Zwieback is a form of rusk, it was used for teething babies to gnaw on to help teeth erupt.

Rusk is a type of biscuit as the Brits call them. More commonly referred to as cookies in the US and probably other places. The waffle thing with the caramel filling or whatever it was is basically a stroopwaffle.
