I recently did the same repair to my 38 foot Morgan Catalina but eventually replaced the packing and replaced all the hose clamps on the bellow (hose). The work allowed me to control the drip from the stuffing box it also stopped the flood from my failing bellow. Now onto my rudder which also has a packing nut/stuffing box that is leaking. Oh yeah I tightened two through holes that were leaking so zI might finally (after one year) get a dry bilge! Best to you love your channel!
I'm going to invent a coffee press that doesn't leave " floaties " in the pour ...not that we even pay attention to them anymore..still...the floaty free coffee press. Any takers.
Thanks for your great shows. Especially the Universal engine work. I have an old one runs great but finding parts is my question. Not the Kubota engine particularly. Right now looking for the seawater impeller kit. Any source other than westerbeke? Enjoy.
My bother and his family live in Victoria, so I know this is pretty rare weather there. Glad you got through it so well! Beautiful video. It’s my first look at your channel. Love your work!
Nice...maybe a sailboat trip up Howe Sound docking at the end (can't remember the name of the town) with a ski/bike adventure to Whistler? Or...a trip to Vancouver docking at some marina there...?
It is good to see your channel again. Not certain if the algorithm, or maybe I subscribe to too many sailing channels, but I must needs drill down to locate your magnificent videos. My heartfelt appreciation.
Of course, the Lord and Master of the Domain, Baron if you will, always insists upon being served that very BEST part of the loaf, that deliciously crusty portion from the center, just to prove how much he approves. ;-) What a keeper he is, you two are priceless. Better than bacon! High praise indeed! Hey, I KNOW he is not your 'lord and master', times they are a changin', but I hope he treats you that way ALL the time, you (both) deserve your life. Every time I try to edit it, it sounds worse, I hope you understand some of what my intention was.
Hi you guys i love watching you both in whatever you do watching you even do the simplist of things is why we are here ....i would love it if there was more lets say holiday adventure with you two ...x😊
Thank you gor your wonderful vudro again. Would live your recipe for rice paper bacon please. Also last year some time you I saw you drink out of a very cute mug. It was plain off white with a tiny sailing boat embossed. Would love yo know where you got that mug from as we love to purchase it myself. Thanknypu so much again. Looking forward to your nexr video👏😊🥰
Hi, there is somthing we use which I think it's called Strip Terminal Block, and it can be used in your situation. It helps when there is a possiblity for period changing one side. So you won't need to cut the wires every time (and get short...). So just wanted to help, and hope it helps.
So good job on the light but you cut the wires a little short. I would have left them as long as possible for any possible future electrical work. It works however for now. Hopefully for the long haul. In the future always consider possible future changes or light replacements.
Cruise in the Gulf of Mexico, or live off grid in the San Blas Islands of Panama for 10 years. (8 months a year) It will teach you so much, all for the better and how to handle crazy intense windstorms, lighting, and insane rain. Never let the upkeep of simple items go unmaintained, have 4 or 5 spares onboard, for anything. Good luck, enjoy the rain. ( beautiful in BC, I'm from Ontario, 4 months a year now) Make a move, get a water-maker, put a bimini on that dam boat, keep the videos comming. Enjoy life while you can, your young, peace out.
my life has been filled with loud noise and stress. marines, police officer, business owner, just go go go loud loud loud. i love these moments now. people dont know what being out in this by yourself or someone that also understands can do for your mind heart and soul. the best is silent, falling snow.
O my, but it is SO good to see you again! We've missed you guys! Life is so busy isn't it!?! Your bread, bacon & all the fixings looked sooo delicious😂 I'm sure I wasn't the only one whose mouth was watering. Ha! Love your videography... (is that the right word?l) I would LOVE to see a calendar of your photos!! I'd purchase it in a minute!👍☺️. Take care you guys, and get well Jonas❤ Look forward to seeing you again!
