I don’t know if I’d consider it specifically the American style but I have seen some similar art styles from American artists in the past. Either way it is cool to see them branching out into different styles for promotional content.
That was a really cool trailer. Though once again not what I expected. It was fun watching you go through the scenes. Not much to add, but the glowing tattoo on her back is the symbol of the Hunt. So my guess is that taking care of this creature is the duty of the Yaoqing generals and not something unique to her. Some of the things in the livestream pointed in that direction as well. We should find out tomorrow.
Interesting, that actually adds a cool layer to what she’s talking about. I’d be curious to learn more about those poems to see what the lines mean in the context of the original text.
That really cool! I’ve always been interested in learning about various traditional instruments. Knowing this now makes me appreciate its use in Blade’s demo even more than I already did.
what i immidiatly compared the first half, is the Movie "Fast and Furious Hobbs and Shaw" they had something similar for the later part of the animated short, when the background gets colorful, they are displaying the countdown from 10 until its 10am and the food beeing "mild" she is used to spicy food because of jiaoqui or how hes called.
Really nice closer look at the short. Though it makes it even funnier that you too missed that the time when she started running was 9:58, so she had just 2 minutes to get there. The font on the clock really isn't very legible. Good job nonetheless, keep it up!

Excellent analysis! I've had lots of fun trawling through the 'freakout' reactions, but this is a nice counterbalance to that. It's so interesting how she uses misdirection, confusion and threats to squeeze information out of her target. Part of it is things we're privy to - going along with the male pronouns - so we understand she's lying; part of it is, like you said, the threats we're not sure whether she'd go through with. Does criminal psychology let her predict that the Hollow Raider can move her thighs aside in time, or was she prepared to shed a little blood? I can't wait to go through her trust events to learn more about her.
She is easily one of the most intriguing characters in the game just cause I feel like I have a strong grasp of her character while also never truly knowing what she’ll do.

I haven’t done any playthrough videos recently just cause they take the longest to edit and have generally performed a lot worse than my other content among a few other reasons, but if I think that there’s enough of an audience to be worth the effort I’d definitely do more! I am working on some non-reaction content in the background right now though so look forward to that whenever I finish it.
Yeah the only reason I can think of is that they’re wanting to name it the same way that HSR does it but that is still a weird reason since ZZZ also calls them demos

Aloy is the most bizarre unit lore-wise, really. As you've said, she's a non-cannon but a role that's actually important in the lore. And her inclusion breaks one of the foundation of world-building that outlanders dont get to get vision but she has one. lol.
Yeah, crossover characters in Hoyo’s games have always felt a bit strange to me for this reason. I’m curious how they’ll explain the HSR x Fate crossover once that happens.
Incorporating realistic food is pretty common in food/cooking anime these days. Years ago people complained that anime food didn't look very appetizing. So animators steped up thier game. Sometimes they use real food, and somes its CGI. And FYI the brunette girl is Sushang, his adopted niece.
I don’t watch much cooking anime so I had no idea that was now the norm, but that’s interesting to know. I recognized Sushang, but wasn’t aware that she’s his adopted niece so I didn’t really bother acknowledging her.
Youthful Appearance, Old Soul is the perfect title for this and accurately describes who she is. Its less obvious in English but in Chinese and Japanese of the Pusec chapter it makes it very clear Qingyi is the senior of the duo despite Zhu being the higher rank, Zhu even calls her senpai in JP. Qingyi comes off as very experienced from the little we have seen of her and the trailer gives us more of that as she seems to be hanging out with people closer to her actual age.
I did notice when Zhu referred to her as her senior in the Pubsec chapter, which I found interesting. It really makes me curious to know how old she actually is.

I’ve always found it interesting how stuff like that gets translated and localized. I didn’t know anything about Chinese chess so I didn’t realize that was what they were playing. Just a quick clarification for Eula’s teaser, the one narrating is actually Acting Grand Master Jean, which is why when Eula sneezes she says its because that Gunnhildr girl is talking about her behind her back again. Jean and Grand Master Varka both fought for Eula to join the Knights of Favonius, despite the Lawrence Clan’s past and the city’s resentment towards them.

I don't know much about genshin and honkai, but a lot of people said that the in game animations, especially the characters' ult in ZZZ, looks more animated and fluid than Hoyo's previous games.
Herrscher comparison breaks down because IIRC New Era never had proper Herrscher of Death nor Herrscher of Flame. Sirin got Death core, then it was IIRC in Schicksal's hands and ended in Kiana/K-423. Seele IIRC have stigmata of 1st Era Herrscher (and PE Seele was one). Flame again was with Sirin, then in Schicksal's hands, then in Himeko's battlesuit, then gone to Kiana. Kiana is not Herrscher of Flame, she's Herrscher of Flamescion - ascended form when Core of Flame joined Cores of Void and Death. They are exactly as Herrschers gone in Past Era and with how cores were distributed in new one as Sirin got too many at the same time. PS. So the ones who you should associate with Death and Flame blades should be Seeles and Himeko.
It’s been a minute since I actually played Impact 3rd so I’m not surprised if I got a few things wrong. I was mainly thinking about it from just the names and powers of the new era Herrschers and the order they manifested rather than the exact juggling of the cores but that is a fair point to bring up as it doesn’t work as a comparison on that level. Realistically I imagine that the blades are more of a loose equivalent or reference as some of them like Sky and Howl absolutely share similarities with Void and Thunder but others I admit are bigger stretches.
In Jepella Rebellion I love cyberprison moment as rest is Kafka going "it was either you or your buddies in Annihilation Gang, but we took Stellaron at the end", but there she's just plain "Aaaaactually proud of that one!" Also I think Kafka didn't organized court case, just prevented them to recognize what's going on and organize resistance. On what Sam is just "you should've killed them, it would've been simpler".
Yeah I love how she says that “those data demons deserved a taste of freedom!” It is easily one of the most energetic lines from her and it’s great. On your second point that actually makes a lot of sense, I hadn’t thought of it that way.
What you do is not reaction but breakdown. "This starts with this and it is like that, but this one is like that" you know. You forgot to react. But that's just my opinion. It feels like you have already seen the demos, which i don't like, personally
I suppose you're right about it being more of a breakdown than a reaction. I can understand not enjoying it as much as a usual reaction but I'm still just sharing my opinions and am learning as I go. I hope that my proper first time reactions to future content can be more interesting!
