Thanks for sharing your wisdom bud. I've been tinting cars for a while but keep turning down flat glass jobs because I'm scared of the types of windows and different install techniques. That Glass Check Elite tool looks like a must-have for flatty glass jobs!
This is an amazing build! Quick question, does the engine's PCM run the 4x4 operation? If so, did you have to have the PCM reflashed to shift properly while in 4wd low?
Man i gotta take mine out this weekend im gonna install the bd diesel killer grid heater, i want a banks but man a thousand is alot of money. I was really hoping to do it without pulling all the injectors and what not.
Wish there was a way to do this with a 5.7 and a more modern trans. I would like a boosted LS swapped 1500 that can keep up with supercharged f150s. This truck is real clean and looks great with the blue on blue.
On your OBS ls swap . I see that you used a 454 radiator and Nbs electric fans. How did you bolt the fans down to work. Could you send me some pics of it. When you where explaining the parts needed for the swap only can catch a slight glimpse of those bracket.
What brand and size of airbags did you put on your truck? Sounds like I'm going through the same problems you have already gone through doing a C-notch on a 4x4. Thanks in advance.
Y’all haven’t seen the inside of any egr equipped diesel engines I guess because yours is by far average -Cummins knows the amount of soot buildup that these engines acquire & they can handle it-the engine would have to have zero airflow to not be able to run-my point here is these engines are tough as is any of the big threes diesel’s but removing the soot you can is great & then not dumping even more is greater👍🏼🏁
Would a strategically placed magnet be able to keep the bolt from rolling into the #6 cylinder? At least you could see that the part has failed ( with a dashboard code) and make repairs without losing the complete motor.
Hey bud, how is this kit holding up? I know the rams are sensitive to front end lifts. Any issues over time? What does your pops think of the kit after putting some miles on it?
Hi my man I need some help to lower my truck, I’ve 98 Silverado k1500 and I want to know the exactly Belltech parts to lower my truck, I did a quick search and I figured the all 4wd truck can lower only 2/2 by belltech kits, is there any parts can install to lower the truck more than 2/2 from the front and back?
Hell yeah man I'm in the market for a truck to haul a bunch of cars, and I'm dead set on a 1st gen cummins. Ideally it would be exactly like yours, w250, manual, intercooled. Not sure if you looked into it but these things run great on black diesel, and if you get good at making it pretty much costs you nothing.
Ayyy i got me a black truck too… they nice! Took me 13 years and 7 different cars to finally land on black (Gen2 Honda Ridgeline) and i suddenly gain interest in exterior detailing 😅
I know this video is a year old, but I had to say. Thank you for making it. Lots of great information for the swap in one video under 10 mins. The way you went about it is very easy, logical, but intelligent & intentional.
