I hit a BD trailer brake kit for my Cummins cuz I got a non vgt turbo kit

Bd has a 4 and 5" electronic inline exhaust brake

Before he did a re-tune did the turbo cause any check engine lights or was it ok? I assume he just wanted a re-tune to get the full potential out of the new turbo? Also for an exhaust brake, check out bundy exhaust brakes. Probably what im going to try on my 6.7

Where did you get your tunes? I have a 12 with non vgt. I don’t know what tuner was on the truck because it didn’t come with the truck when I bought it. So I need programmer and tunes

Should of got the SXE366R much better of a pull and the same spool time with good tunes from someone who knows pulsewidth well I have a sxe 366r stock injection with tunes from a world record holder and ucc champ and it spools just fine and has alot more up top and will pull your load up hill alot stronger my 66 doesn't run out of steam pulls hard till truck runs out of gear 140mph mind you I have a built billet Suncoast trans but I've burned s63 trucks alive lthe difference up top is big.....you would be doing your motor a major no no by putting a exhaust break back on it terrible for the valves and turbo and a few other things, boys need to learn a bit more yet , if you do injection upgrades in the future especially compounds now your 63 is almost maxed out and or obsolete not much room for more fueling with a 63
