I just want to say thank you for this free test bear pattern. I just made it and it is as cute as can be! I will be making a bunch for local charities. I also want to thank you for the absolutely wonderful job on the above video. I have been a ITH stuffie maker for quite some time and have NEVER seen such a great job. I hope you have videos for all your stuffies as I bought several and hope to watch them. Thank you again, you're fabulous!!!!!!!!

I’m new to machine embroidery. This is fascinating that you can make a stuffed animal with it! Have you ever made something similar using a regular sewing machine? Aside from the embroidered face and paw elements, I’m curious about the time difference between the two processes. How long does it take to make this in the hoop kitty from start to finish on the stitching (not including cutting out the fabric pieces) ?
@KrosMB
@KrosMB 4 месяца назад
Hi @gerriebell2128! Thank you for your interest in machine embroidery and for stopping by my channel. I'm glad you find the process fascinating! To answer your question, I haven't personally made a sewing option for stuffed animals using a regular sewing machine. However, I can share that one advantage of using machine embroidery is the consistency in the final product specifications. With machine embroidery, you can ensure that each embroidered element is precisely stitched, resulting in a uniform and professional-looking finish every time. Regarding the time difference between machine embroidery and sewing, it can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the design, machine speed, and individual experience. As for the stitching time for the 'in the hoop' kitty design, it typically takes several hours to complete, but this can vary depending on the specific design and your machine's capabilities. While machine embroidery may require a bit more time upfront, the quality and precision of the final product often make it worth the investment. Plus, with practice and experience, you can become more efficient in the embroidery process. I hope this helps answer your questions! If you have any further inquiries or if there's anything else I can assist you with, feel free to let me know. Please have a look into our free teddy bear option here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--CbTC4-Kelc.htmlsi=ZpRdOv3nJWhQIASl Download the design from my media fire account: www.mediafire.com/folder/f33927sxstfqa/KROSMB_FREE_TEST_TEDDY_BEAR and give it a try Happy stitching!🥰🥰

Are you using Mindy of fleece..or something else for the fabric?

I use a combination of fleece and minky for the fabric. The dark grey patch is minky, while the body is made from a fleece blanket. I appreciate your interest in my work!

Hi, I think this Bear is so adorable and I can't wait to make it. I'm having trouble printing the pattern after downloading. It won't print the PES file, it's says not supported. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
@KrosMB
@KrosMB 7 месяцев назад
Thank you so much for your sweet comment dear Tamara! I'm thrilled that you like the bear😊. As for the printing issue, you can print any embroidery file as long as you have a software that you can open the files with. For using it as a stitch pattern you'll have to make sure that you print 100% the size of your designs. Most software will provide a split option that you can print and tape together in order to get a full pattern. I just generated and uploaded an add on folder containing the print-ready PDFs for your convenience in using them as sewing patterns, and you can download them from here: www.mediafire.com/folder/7og55b659z76i/PDF_PRINT .

I just made this and it is super cute. Since it was a first ITH project it took me a long time, I was a little confused about the weird thread colors that came up on my machine and what steps were actually coming up next. I printed the guide which help with the size of fabric and some other things. But the video was what really made it possible. I even added my granddtr's name to the belly. I am going to buy more of your patterns now that I have the hang of it. It was so helpful to be able to sew one free. Thanks!!!!

Hello dear Susan and thank you for making our lovely kitty. No you are not missing any files, the back of this kitty is one piece of fabric, no middle back stitch needed. The tail is manually attached to the back. I hope this helps and if there is anything else I can help you with feel free to write me anytime.

Hi there, I plan to make a few of these for my kids/nieces. Approximately how much stuffing do I need for the 5x7 design? Thanks
@KrosMB
@KrosMB 11 месяцев назад
Hello dear Ruth, it depends on the type of poly fill you are using, I can tell you that my finished 5x7 teddy has approximately 38-40 grams(1.4 oz) filled and it took about 25-30grams(0.9 oz) of toy filling. The minky that I use is 165 grams/m² and you can take a look for more detail here: www.stoklasa.ro/plus-neted-minky-x144180

Hello dear Marie, the extra stabilizer is added where the stitches are concentrated to one spot. This will give a better, sharper end result.
