Hello! My channel contains videos centered mostly in North Georgia, which is where I live. I like to go camping in my teardrop camper, so I enjoy creating videos of the locations where I camp. I am lucky to live in a state that has such an abundance of natural beauty. I hope you enjoy the videos I post on my channel, which also feature videos on cooking outdoors.
As of today, we have 2 types of programs on this channel. The 'Fun in the Outdoors' program which features videos on camping, campground tours, campground reviews, and activities and places to visit near campgrounds. These videos are meant to provide information on campground amenities, the types of sites available, the quality of maintenance, and things you can do while camping in these locations.
The second type of program on this channel is 'Camp Kitchen', which features videos on meals cooked outdoors. Whenever possible, meals are cooked at campsites. These videos are intended to promote outdoor cooking.
Yes, there are! I’ve also been told that the bathroom has been updated. We will be staying in the new Yurt village this Fall. We can’t wait to check it out.

Thank you. My goal is to provide helpful information on the campgrounds and campsites we visit. I've actually camped at several sites at McKinney. We visited this past May and stayed at site 93. I will have a video on that trip in another month. This year has been so busy that I am running behind in video making.
Great tour. We've never been to that side of the state camping. We've got e-bikes that we bought last fall. We got back about 3 weeks ago from spending the winter months dispersed camping on BLM and NFS land in the southwest. We camped on Padre Island National Seashore for 10 days, then moved through Texas and down into Big Bed, then on up into Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. It was an awesome trip and we have plans to return next winter. We got tired of these brutal winters we've been having here in Rabun County and gave it a try. We met quiet a few people from Georgia out there doing the same thing. Thanks for your excellent videos.
Good tour and thank you. My wife is about 90% cast iron cooking and has about 2 dozen pieces of the Lodge. She started having problems with her wrist and a friend put her on to the Victoria brand with a curved handle on it. Made a huge difference in her ability to continue to using cast iron. She's got just about all of that brand now. He kitchen looks like a cast iron store now lol. Thanks for sharing your videos.
@@SoftspeakOutdoors You're welcome. She buys hers from Amazon. There's a image of the 10" skillet with a helper handle but it doesn't come with one. She just ordered 4 a few minutes ago for birthday gifts. I think they're a little lighter than the other bands and seem to be much easier to season. She can pickup one of theirs without a helper handle on it where she couldn't with the other ones. The 12 inch does come with a helper handle. She's cooking butterfly chicken breast tonight in one of her grill fry pans.
I cook on cast iron often. This was the first I saw the Cook It All. Any chance you can link to that stand? My searching doesn't find it. And I love Townsends channel. But I can't afford the prices of his products. But thank you for supporting him so he can keep doing his content.
New subscriber here! Great video! Based on your video, our family just booked a campsite at fort mountain. We always like to check out videos like this before we go to see the campsites, the roads, the amenities, etc. I think we will leave our bikes at home, and just enjoy the beautiful hiking trails and the beach/lake. We will get a video created sometime after we get back; for now just to enjoy all that the park has to offer!
I spent two nights in this park a year or so back… the official park rangers were very polite and professional… the camp ground host volunteers … were arrogant and overbearing …. There was a severe bear problem
We just came back from a few days at Vogel State Park and had a wonderful time! Facilities were great, including bathroom and shower. Camp store was very good too. The hike around the lake and down to the waterfall was incredible! We will have our video up soon.
thanks for the video.. I'm going to go there on my motorcyle with a tent. So I needed a level site. My Harley is hard to back up. So needed to see all the spots. Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing. This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I reserved a campsite so that we could go on hikes during the day only to find out we’d have to drive to the trailheads. 😭 It’ll be our first time camping with the guidance of cub scouts, so I want to find out as much as I can before we go. Most videos focus on the falls and not the campground.
I'm glad it was helpful. Our focus is to provide information to help campers know about the good and the bad about campgrounds and camp sites, but we also try to provide what it feels like to actually be there.
