The whole path does not have proper steps as such and is pretty narrow Climb might not be as difficult unless you have fear of heights. We would need to be a little careful is all.
Alternatively you guys could take the SH6, which goes through Mundgod, Connect with NH 66 at Ankola and enter Goa via Karwar-Majali. My family has been using this route among many others (chorla, tilhari, amboli, anmod) for the past 18 years and in the current road conditions, Karwar route seems to be the quickest. We have completed this journey within 12 hours.
There are exits to all places from expressway, but might not be in the exact same place/point of entry. Sharing Srirangapatna exit from expressway maps.app.goo.gl/c9jHAa4vLoRqBeF97?g_st=ic Hope this helps !
Better to start between 5am and 6am , depending on how much of bangalore city is to be crossed (to avoid traffic). This way you will reach there in the afternoon
hey guys. thanks for this very informative video. this is going to be very helpful for me. could you please share the google maps link of the entire route you took, if possible. that would be great ! thank you !
Thank you. We took maps.app.goo.gl/NzrK54DZArPRga4D7?g_st=ic route. Google maps is showing some alert . Might deviate the path in that case. Happy and safe driving 🙂
Our recent stay at this resort was nothing short of a disaster. We paid 20k for two rooms for a 2-night stay and experienced the following issues: •No Electricity: No power meant no geyser, leaving us in freezing cold conditions. •No Wi-Fi: Despite promises, there was no Wi-Fi. The staff made numerous excuses and didn’t even apologize, which affected our important meetings. •Terrible Food: The food was unbearable. Even as someone who can usually eat anything, I found it incredibly painful to consume. These were basic amenities the resort promised. To add insult to injury, when we addressed these issues with the owner, he rudely told us to “fuck off” and hung up. Staff members even admitted that the owner, the son of a famous film producer, doesn’t care about the resort. If you’re considering a stay at this “resort,” think again. It’s a complete waste of time and money. And btw I’ve decided to stay in this resort after watching your video. Not complaining… but our experiences were different
Very sorry to hear that you had to go through all that. I totally understand, vacations should never be like this. We had a complete different experience and this is a surprise. They might have changed the staff probably.
Nice Video, Very informative. I am also planning to take a road trip to Goa from Bangalore. However, you mentioned that for a stretch of around 200+Km there is not gas/petrol station ⛽. Can you point out from where to where exactly? It might be helpful for someone.
Thanks. After we exited Bangalore Pune expressway, we did not find any petrol pumps for good 160+ km. There were a lot of detour due to construction when we travelled. So, we would advise to have your tank filled before entering the expressway to avoid any kind of issues.
Nice and informative. We are driving to Goa in couple of months and I am the only one driving. But we plan to stay back in Davangere for the night to make it manageable. Excited!
Mudumalai route has many hairpins just before entering Ooty but the road condition is better. Masinagudi route would be relatively easier to drive. When we went, some stretch of the road was under construction so faced bad road. If that is complete, then this could be the option.
Hi I’ll be travelling from Pune Hyderabad Bangalore. From Hyderabad to Bangalore what is the route you took and how about hilly and Ghat areas if any in between? And overall road conditions is good ?
We booked it from Ubud. There are many vendors from whom you can get it booked. Try avoiding booking last minute. If it’s high season, you might miss out on seats. Will include details in upcoming videos
