Coorg is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway to unwind, decompress and enjoy nature, food and adventure activities.
The route we took was bengaluru - Ramnagar - mandya - mysuru - hunsur - khushalnagar - Coorg
We are planning to visit the Namdroling Monastery, also called Golden temple in Bylakuppe.
It is a must visit place and has a lot to offer.
As it’s enroute coorg, better to visit the place before reaching the destination.
The total distance to khusharnagara is approximately 230 kms.
Most of the roads are 4 lane+ and rest of the journey is on single lane but the road conditions are pretty good.
Our plan for the day is to visit the golden temple and have lunch there.

As you can see the majestic mysore expressway is not yet complete, it is a 119 km long Bengaluru Mysuru expressway.
Best part about it is access controlled and 6-10 lanes and most important is the view a sight to the sore eyes.
As you can see the large rock formations, coconut trees, ramnagara hills in the backdrop, smooth black express way running through bridges ,underpasses and the abundance of greenery it is very hard to describe the beauty.
Even video cannot do the justice to the view, one has to come experience personally

Right from the food , nice weather, rustic town, scenic places, water falls, trekking, off road safaris to mandalpatti hills, white water rafting etc.
