That's identical to how I used to fight my little brother. Especially when I wasn't even that mad.. We'd be back to playing Sega in 10 minutes. So they're probably good.
Two things can be true at once. One always stomp on the middle of the plate. Two the umpire isnt suppose to tip the ither team to those kinds of things. The other team has to catch it.
Don't understand, baseball newbie here, if you hit a homer, why do you need to touch home base, surely hitting the ball out of the park is enough to be automatically home right? 🤔
I quit watching MLB when they were already making an ungodly amount of money and they went on strike for more. That's when I realized they no longer play for the love of the game. 1984 was the last time. The Tigers won while we lost
There should be a managers' challenge that can be used 2 times per game on any play at any base, including pitches. Maybe then umps will make better calls in fear of being overturned publicly.
He was watching the ball all the way, and know what he was doing. He wouldn't be a major leaguer if he couldn't tell the difference between a fastball and a breaking ball. He knew what he was doing.
If it weren't for slow motion I wouldn't have believed the PROFANITY spewing out of the coach and especially the umpires mouths! The umpires need to go back to school and learn how to be gentlemen then umpires! Maybe that's why they did away with the sportscoats and ties. Fin.
The new rules are stupid. The eye contact thing is just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. The way to make it “fair” is you’ve gotta have a weird compromise and it’s not gonna be win-win. You give the batter a reasonable amount of time to come set and then after the ump determines he’s come set, the umpire can signal the picture that his clock has started. You basically split the time. So the fault only lies on who’s clock is on. You would need to revisit the stepping off and time out rules but you eliminate this dumb eye contact crap. It’s not perfect but something has to change if you’re trying to do this whole pitch clock thing but what do I know I just played a lot of baseball. For the record I hate the rule as it stands and it was poorly designed. And should have been incremental to lessen the confusion. Get used to different aspects of it, and the league could troubleshoot what was wrong with it.
Absolutely pathetic. Why is it always the players that absolutely cannot fight end up in a brawl in sports? Hockey mot included. Knowing grown ass athletes dont know how to fight is so weird to me. And sad. Self defense is the number 1 most important thing in life. If you cant even throw a proper punch, you are a failure as a man. What if your wife or child is getting beat up by another grown man.. you have to be able to defend them and yourselves adequately enough to not be battered and hospitalized and get home safe. I know its rare to have to defend yourself physically. But there is always a chance. Sure you can call the cops but cops dont just appear. Save yourself. Your life. Save your wife. Your kids. Your peers. Be a good bystander. And learn how to fight. Delf defense classes. Boxing. Kick boxing. Muay thai. Wrestling. Jujitsu. Judo. So many legit martiao arts will make a better person overall in life. More humble and considerate. The nicest most courteous people are martial artists or somebody with a combat background
