Loved that. Did you have your camera on a tripod? Very steady shots. Very artsy. My wife and I once owned and operate a summer kids' camp on the NC/TN border. We used Watauga Lake for canoeing. It wouldn't be all that far from where you were. Are you based in that area for a while? Perhaps I could make a van trip up that way.
Those are exquisite photos. I'm jealous...both of your photography and of all the places you've visited. I recognize a couple of places for sure...and might have been to a couple of others. Love this!
What fun. Wonderful channel trailer. It looks like you could have been a professional. Oh wait -- you ARE a professional. So fun to meet you today and chat. We have a lot in common except you're a pro. I've subscribed and look forward to watching tons of travel videos from 13 Weeks Drone.
I took a ride on the Lynx several years ago when it was in Baltimore. It was a good ride and worth every penny of the fee. They had a little cannon trouble during my ride -- the friction-pull cannon igniters worked, but not well enough to fire one of their cannon. I'm pretty sure it was because of a build-up of aluminum foil they used to wrap their powder charges. We sometimes carry 13 cannon on my schooner, and burn up a lot of powder during a pirate weekend. We seldom -- if ever -- have a failure to fire, mainly because we load loose powder and we clear the touch hole with a 'gunner's pick' prior to dumping the priming powder into the depression around the touch-hole. We fire them with a linstock holding a slow burning match. At one time, we used green cannon fuse, but that usually resulted in about a one or two-inch section of burning fuse being blown out of the touch-hole, where it could land on a sail, etc. and cause other problems. If you get a chance to take a ride on the Lynx, do it! You'll love the adventure.
This park is gorgeous! We live at Rebecca Creek ..The creek is pretty much depleted. .. It's been sad to watch a beautiful thriving creek diminish to nothing. How's y'all's holding up? Is is Yakable?
