In this video .The Perry's visit us in Nashville for spring break back in March. We took some day trips and really had a great time together. We start out doing what everyone does when they come to Nashville, go downtown to Lower Broadway better known as the Honky Tonk Highway. We ate lunch and visited a couple of famous bars. Our next stop was a trip to Chattanooga, TN. We took the cave tour to Ruby Falls. Here you take an elevator ride 260 feet below the surface. When the elevator opens you're entering the Lookout Mountain Cave. The caverns, the waterfalls, and the iconic limestone castle on the surface are listed on the national registry of historic places. It is home to the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open to the public in the United States.
Then we took a ride up the Lookout Mountain Incline. A ten minute ride to the top of the mountain. As you approach the top of Lookout Mountain the grade is 72.7 % making the Incline the steepest passenger railway in the world.
Then it was off to Kentucky for the day where the Lara, Ashley, Bryan, Mason and Hailey went on a two hour cave tour. Glenn decided to stay top side and hike around the grounds. That's where he met a fellow You Tuber making a video. His channel is The Country Life with Columbus Mark. A very creative man who loves telling stories.
