I liked the Pac at first, but it grew old real quick. 2 quarreling sides of the faction didn’t work out. The Black&White was the best. Biscoff never should have joined. The faction should have been Hall, Nash, Hogan, Trillion Aire Ted, and Vincent. You let Giant join for a month, then there’s a falling out and he goes back to WcW. You do the same thing with Savage, Buff, Luger, Disco Inferno, and so on. Wcw never would have lost out to WWF.
Sting and Savage should never joined. Even the Wolfpack. Sting should stayed WCW. But after the mistake with Savage he did create interest when him and Hogan argued. Savage losing the belt the very next day was another mistake. The finger poke of doom wasn't the end. It actually sparked interest ( check the ratings not the historical views) injuries ruined that followed by WCW booking imploding
3:47 24hrs later its discovered that Macho has a leg injury, hence why he keeps holding his leg and no one calls it or explained why he can't defend the title he JUST won.
Had the right people from the Golden Era been kept around longer (not Hogan, but Macho Man, Jake the Snake, Warrior, and Sherri Martel among others), and had some not been injured so much (Piper and Perfect), I think they would have made this era better than it was and there'd be more matches on par (if not better than) with what's shown here.
NWO Wolfpac was cringe. The NWO was the ultimate heel faction but the NWO Wolfpac was a silly face faction with that clown Konan jumping around throwing up gang signs...........cringe.
I know Jeremy has done a few podcasts and discussed the Classic Superstars line, but I would love to hear him do a sit down and discuss the ins and outs of the line. For example, series one justifiably went all out on the deco with Warrior, Bret and Shawn were very good for the time, HHH wasn't bad either. But Andre and Undertaker not being in RA style always confused me. I can understand skimping out on some details if there was a set budget for the series one line up and allocating it to Warrior, but as the line progressed this hit or miss system seemed to always persist. I remember when the line ended how poor some of the line ups were budget wise and distribution wise. I prefer the Mattel product overall, but I have so much nostalgia for Jakks. Jakks did do somethings better, like Bret Hart for example, has always had a far better head sculpt with Jakks. Mattel has never quite nailed the Bret look scan wise. Undertaker had some odd sculpts for Mattel as well. Imagine had Jakks scrapped some of their lesser lines, such as Micro Aggression, Vinyls, Unmatched Fury, Dollar Store lines, etc and focused their overall WWE budget on Classic Superstars, Ruthless Aggression, Deluxe Aggression and Adrenaline? More details, more molds, they would have set the bar incredibly high, higher than they did already. For instance, series one Undertaker with RA parts, matching cuffs for the boots and gloves and a new retro sculpt would have been incredible. Even RA and DA Undertaker with Mattel's attention to detail on the tattoos, so much potential. While we get far better detailing these days, I don't think anyone will ever be able to match the range of what Jeremy did with Classic Superstars. I was 13 years old buying Killer Kowalski and Jimmy Valiant figures, such a great way to learn the history of the sport.
Wolfpack was so cool the thing was awesome the colors of Grey the problem is that they wcwi mean never build no new stars like every single person was already an established wrestler in that company or from other companies or there was already a NWO member
I don’t care what anyone says. Finger Poke was awesome, now everything immediately following was shit. But in live time was awesome. First they were already getting carried away with swerves, but this you didn’t see coming. Second you got the original 3 of hogan, hall & Nash back together
So many memories... My first was the Macho King, who came with a crown and a scepter. These were my federations championships as we never got any belts in 90s Austria, along with Razors gold. Game recognizing game I was the only kid I ever met who rooted for Shawn back in the day. I always envied the other kids for the playability of their favorites, Hitman and Razor most of the time. I always thought the suplex and the clothline-builds were much better than what Hasbro did with Shawn Michaels or the first Macho Man. Only the jumping build was worse for playing, so Superfly and the Steamboat never got to wear the crown.
My first figure was I.R S! I loved it and played with it all the time. Had some classic IRS vs He-Man matches until shopping in a supermarket I saw the WWF ring. I nearly lost my mind, I picked it up and ran as fast as possible to find my parents. They bought it for me, I came with both Bushwhakers. Over time I collected loads more Hasbro figs. Mu favourite would be Crush in his purple/yellow gear and Shawn Michael's in his white/red HBK gear. My WWF champion for ages was Papa Shango, IRS was Intercontinental champ and Demolition were tag champs. The fig I wanted for but could never pick up was the Adam Bomb fig. I loved that guy. Most shops where I live stopped stocking wrestling toys by then. Endless fun and great memories 😊
Only nwo Wolfpack I acknowledge is the one that had Kevin Nash, konnan, Sting and lex luger. Macho man really didn't get to do anything with them. That 1999 version was a joke and the death of the Wolfpack
Turning new blood of NWO (i mean Wolfpack) into boring heel factory was the end of WCW for me personally. Wolfpack was so hot that crowd popped huge every freaking time. Wolfpack was a good guys who were not regular stupid and naive WCW faces, an it added more legitimacy to the whole wrestling business. Sadly it went way too soon. As to "old guys acting gansta"... You know the Click and the freind was in a way on gansta sh. But in their own way.
WCW had everything they needed to become and stay as the number 1 company. But lack of leadership and complete shit booking killed it. The bookers for WCW were the absolute worst in the history of wrestling

Incorrect images with wrong date/time zones. The pictures are all there, but he mixed them without any reason. Later he is showing only pictures from the WWF-time. That has nothing to do with the time in WCW 1998-1999. Thats so annoying. Furthermore, he just says shit: How can you not think the ending of the Nash vs. Hall fight was great? This Swerve is awesome and the reunion is the right consequence. The problem was simply that tons of wrestlers got injured. They couldn't continue alot storylines, so they had to make drastic changes, which meant the story took strange turns. They couldn't continue the Goldberg vs. nWo feud which was their grand plan. Eric Bischoff had to incorporate family-friendly storylines at the direction of new Time Warner chairman, even though WCW was becoming known for adult gangster wrestling. And as if a Syxx-Pac would have made such a big difference in the red/black Wolfpac... All in all this guy is talking alot nonsense stuff because he has not any knowledge. Just let Savage run wild with the belt for like 6 months... He'd have great matches defending against DDP, Hogan, The Giant, Hall,Luger, Hart... Cage matches, table match,4 way, Lumberjack, it woulda been great.
Fact it WCW was pathetic ro have Savage drop the title to Hogan the next night. Raven won the US title anf dropped it to Goldberg the next night. Really disgusting when WCW did the same thing to Savage the next year. That company just kept doing the same stuff. I hate how it tuned out. WCW,was more interesting to me, but they didn't know how to end stuff or to evolve. 1998 was profitable because they pushed DDP & Goldberg. WWF knew when to hold & fold on stuff. They rode each star but prepared another to take over.

My favorites as a kid was the white trunks Ultimate Warrior, it was my first and i really like Jake The Snake because of Damian. I had most of them as a kid and i love having entire events, with matches ect. Back when kids had an imagination. lol
Potting aside that I will always defend WM 12….. Between SS 1992 and IYH 1995? I say IYH 1995. It was more on equal ground without any backstage bullshit involved and more of the traditional face vs heel made interesting because they were brother in laws. Though the constant showcasing of Diana’s reactions are kinda annoying and unneeded. Honestly if I could pick an appropriate time for Davey to win the championship, I’m going with IYH 1995. Another Bret vs Davey feud would’ve been better than whatever shit was going on with Shawn and Davey Boy where Davey was made to look stupid constantly. The one match I think of that’s missing is Survivor Series 1996 with Bret vs Austin and 1-2-3 kid vs Razor Ramon on Raw.
