Friend. Perfect. This is how I imagine videos about vehicle repair. Not unnecessarily long, with all the essential information - mainly you thought and put the OEM numbers there. Well thank you.
Nothing like a e46 no coding the simplest car you can do anything to it this 5 series different animal thats for sure you need to code it for an aux that they should have made anyways 😂
When you say about rhe kit being pre programmed.... Am i right in thinking that if the entire CIC system has been removed from the same car and i fit it all into my car, it should just work? Or will i still need to code some bits in?
@@mondaythe10th the person I got it from had it all pre programed so I just installed it. If you buy the parts on your own you’ll have to have it programed.
How do you program it? I have a car with the module but cannot find instructions anywhere and you did not link a video to programming as mentioned in this video.
The video works for me. No, you are not going to win any awards for your camera abilities (one handed, I get it.) I didn't have to wade through all the BS most RU-vid video "Producers" add. They normally ramble on about nothing on why or what they think. I could care less. Unlike most, yours is doing it, no added BS. It is like searching for a recipe and the website having the "Jump to Recipe" button.
Great idea .I had 2 modules to move . E60 525i 08. Hay I'm in Newzealand and nobody can tell me the correct size for the spare .they all using those poke the wick in the tyre .I ain't doing that . Cheers .
Because I didn't want to have an issue starting the car when I got back outside there was a windows down warning on my dash, the window control would work, and when I pressed the gas pedal (in park), there was no response. I shut the car off and tried to start it and got nothing but a bunch of flashing from the electronics (ccc screen and dash icons). I noticed the switch was "on" ...switched it back to "neutral" position. Then, I disconnected the battery cables touched them together to remove any current within the system, reattached the cables, tried to start it, and still got nothing except for dash icon flashes. Did I short out the battery?
Hey, so I installed a toggle switch, which requires being flipped to the open position, and then back to the closed (original) position...last night, I was driving with a couple of bikes and switched it on. When I went to switch it off, however, it did not remain in the "original" position. I went to a gas station, and after I got gas, it sputtered -electrically- and did not start. I took the key out, put it back in, and it started. Drove home, all good. In the morning, I went to go to walmart and it acted like it had a low battery, or like the alternator wasn't charging the battery. I didn't want to get stuck at walmart, so I left my car running while I ran in
Probably about 30-45 min. I’ve now just focused on left side and prop it up. I use a small inflatable ball to rise the dash enough for me to fit my hand under to remove CAs
@@roskinc Thanks. I am giving it a try today, will just do the left. I too have no keys and need to mail it in (ebay) vs the dealer at $700. Have you used any of the eBay persons for lost all keys?
Normally I always give a like for people taking their time and making these videos. When I found the information was very good I hit the subscribe button. So I definitely hit both buttons. About 12 years ago I came across a video at random that showed how to fix the cup holder in my expedition. It's basically like a BMW it's more in the center of the dashboard and it holds two drinks. The video has gone on to say the broken part should still be in there or less someone had taken it out. I went right to the driveway and sure enough the spring that was still in there. The person went on to say that you can fix it like the factory had but it will break again. Then he showed that all you needed to do was put two tiny screws in place and it should never break again. 12 years later it still works. I'm looking forward to going and looking at your previous videos. Again thank you for showing this fix. Seeing that it is 2:00 in the morning I am going to go out and fix mine.
Hi! My rearlights on my e61 is kinda flickery and just a little at the front headlights but mostly at the back. Does it have to do with the ground aswell or maybe i just need to code it? Cause i bought the car like this already. I was wondering maybe the previous owner installed a led rear lights or something. Thanks in advance!
