How did you get the led rods to light up instead of the bulbs for the brakes?

My '06 E60 has the "indicator leds" and LED turn signals but no "fiber optic" rods. Interesting.

Crikey i had the LCI lights on my 2005 6 years ago, Bruce Miranda made them modules first.The only thing with retro fit is they dont light up the circle brake light, i got another E60 LCI far better car with the lights and uprated gearbox.

Do you sell the plug and play boxes? I have an old set of the Bruce's cable's I was using but the passenger side brakes stop working so I had to go back to the original lights. Can't seem to find no Bruce cables or any other plug and play boxes for sale.

Did you buy lm2 to let them work right or not? Because i have the same adapters (The cheap ones) But it doesnt work right so can you help me do i need to buy lm2 or something else?

have you actually just tried connecting the lights up as standard ie just simply changing the light male plug to (if applicable) the new facelift male plug on the new units.... as it seems very OTT to have to change all-sorts of electrical units just for changing "basically" light bulbs.. the light unit is overall irrelevant!! just saying as I'm currently driving the E46 & I've been told the same regarding changing bulb types as I'd get warning lights showing malfunction or bulb out etc!! & yet I've not had a single issue... I've added this comment as "yeah!" I'm currently looking around to upgrade to a E60 5 series
