Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I ru-vid.comUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
Hi ... very helpful. What also works well is a paint brush. Knocks the dirt right off. What about the smaller filters? How do I clean them? A rinse perhaps?
If you put the fan on automatic mode, what exactly does that mean? Does it adjust the temperature to what degree I want and automatically go to that and keep it that way? Say I put the fan at 70 and set it to automatic--does that mean that the unit will adjust the room temperature to 70 and keep it that way?
Thx for the video. Whenever I watch such videos, they never tell me how to turn the programming OFF. I just want to simply turn on the heat myself, and not have to read a manual or watch a tutorial to do so. Also, no pop-up guide, as shown in your tutorial, is present on my model. Thanks!
How do I cancel the mfg default schedule? I just want to just have a nice simple manual thermostat. One that I can raise or lower the room temps as I need to, and as long as I want it to stay.
It’s 50 degrees in my room. The heat won’t kick on 50% of the time. I have it in auto mode and 88 degrees. Then heat mode 88 degrees. Then I change the fan mode. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Help me. I’m freezing.
Got one of these craps in my apartment, I swear this is by far the most difficult to use thermostat to use! Sorry, an engineer can't figure out how to reset the "default schedule temperature"! Whoever makes/buys this thing is a complete idiot.
@@stephenschneider5240 Have you figured it out by any chance? I used to have this problem and then it went away for a couple of months until yesterday! It drives me insane, I just fought it because it kept trying to cool down the room .
@@dashkinok If it has a 'Hold for Days' option ( I think press Hold twice) then you can set it to 75 and just increase the day count to as high as it goes. You'll have to add more days when it runs out though but you can set it for many days.
Does cool function operate the temperature of the air being blown or the target temperature you want the room to get? For example, if set to Cool, Auto, Auto at 78. Will it cool till it gets to 78 (or 82 since that's 4 degrees more), then stop. Or is it blowing 78 degree air all the time with mo shutoff?
I don't have the Thermostat now but it's on order. I just got the system installed three days ago. Now it reads the temp from the unit itself. When I install the thermostat will it read the air temp from the thermostat or keep reading from the unit? Thanks.
Mitsubishi ductless- Strong warranty and strong units. Anyone complaining about it probably has an issue with installation or doesn’t know how to use the remote. Mitsu diamond elite dealers provide a 12 year warranty.
