Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I ru-vid.comUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
Does cool function operate the temperature of the air being blown or the target temperature you want the room to get? For example, if set to Cool, Auto, Auto at 78. Will it cool till it gets to 78 (or 82 since that's 4 degrees more), then stop. Or is it blowing 78 degree air all the time with mo shutoff?
Hi there, AC question... ive a mitsu electric mr slim and condenser fan runs but compressor trys to start but stops making a clattering sound, defective compressor?
If you put the fan on automatic mode, what exactly does that mean? Does it adjust the temperature to what degree I want and automatically go to that and keep it that way? Say I put the fan at 70 and set it to automatic--does that mean that the unit will adjust the room temperature to 70 and keep it that way?
It’s 50 degrees in my room. The heat won’t kick on 50% of the time. I have it in auto mode and 88 degrees. Then heat mode 88 degrees. Then I change the fan mode. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Help me. I’m freezing.
Using a small instrument, example pencil, push the small clock button just above the open cover. Clock will flash. Press the TIME buttons to set the time. Each press increases/decreases the time by 1 minute (10 minutes when pressed longer. Once desired time is the press clock again, should not flash any more.
how do you calibrate the temperature form the remote to the unit, my grandson pushed the buttons not pointing to the unit so the remote say 86 but my table top thermometer says 73
You will need to hit the small reset button to the left of the battery icon below the timer setting. Make sure to point the remote at the unit while holding this, it will reset system and you can move forward accordingly. Thanks for watching!
I just moved into an apartment with four of these units and only one remote. Am I correct in assuming that if I change the settings on one unit, the remote will be out of sync with the other three? Do I need to purchase a separate remote for each unit?
Mitsubishi ductless- Strong warranty and strong units. Anyone complaining about it probably has an issue with installation or doesn’t know how to use the remote. Mitsu diamond elite dealers provide a 12 year warranty.
