i love it. i wonder what would have happened if it were Supergirl? would someone have said something, about the dude in the plaid, punching the undercover hero, if it was a woman and not a dude?
It just feels weird if it’s only one person doing it; like the older RiffTrax commentaries that had only Mike in them. There’s got to be another person there so they can work off each other(just my opinion).
Thank you for your opinion. Actually, I got away from doing the solo stuff, and started doing things more in the MST3K style, complete with the two talking droids. I found it easier to "build" off of each other's commentary that way. I appreciate the visit!
I never understood why there was no blood shooting everywhere from those point-blank shots. And what kind of burger joint is open at 7 a.m. serving hamburgers?
I was not expecting this, but I actually recognized the stickwork, and it's legit. Took me a few years to learn that, so I'm surprised Rob Schneider was able to make that look like it did in time for this movie. Sure, it's only a few moves, not the whole art, and it's choreographed, not an actual fight, but it still takes a while to get the movement right.
In Sheridan several people would have been shot. Raymond with the kid against the wall…shot.. The first punch thrown….shot…everyone standing around watching…shot…big Stan…shot. I’ve watched it over and over throughout the years. It still makes me laugh. Great movie!
I always hated that scene because it sets Superman up as the bully. The script would have been served better if it had allowed Clark to fight back properly in the earlier scene where he got beat up. Instead they did not let him throw a punch. Then in this scene he picks a fight with someone when he is invincible. Can't help thinking the director hated Superman.
Actually, people have argued about this scene since this movie came out. I guess i always considered that perhaps Superman was trying to teach the diner bully a lesson.
