Love the Dobfather, doesn’t matter that it isn’t on the latest edition, since your storytelling is excellent stuff as always. And always hoping someone does attributeless, that’s how I enjoy my FM as well! 😊 My best to Nom, chin up fellow.
You know those moments when you don't realise how much you've missed something? This is one of those moments. Great effort, Sir. Thank you. Michut & Brunner are two of my go to signings in FM. Allez. Also, your prononciation is super! Laughed all the way through, especially the murder trial.
@@FMLlama It must have taken so long to create. Massive effort on your end, huge respect from one of your biggest fans. Monsieur Brunner is great to sign at Paris FC for the corny headlines, as you can imagine. I hope you're well, mate.
Fantastic piece! Interesting timing for this video to show too, haha. It showed up for me a few hours after a chat I had with a friend about him specifically: he is currently in the Portuguese 2nd Tier and he has already gotten some interesting eyes on him. He didn't play much since he signed in January, but it seems this coming season he might be having more luck.
“Has it all. Goals, shenanigans, tragedy and glory. Best watched on the big screen with popcorn and choc tops. 🎥 🍿 Colbert was incredible once he got the monkey off his back. What a rollicking tale of two goalkeeping legends. Five stars.” ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Excellent narrative and a compelling backstory. Something tells me Llama had a lot of fun thinking about Ndour jokes, mon Cher. (I suspect the player is also related to Youssou "7 Seconds" Ndour).
An enjoyable romp of a story, and I have two main takeaways from it - firstly, a life of solitude taking solace in wine and pastries seems a solid and viable life/retirement choice ; secondly, I'll never be able to listen to Daydream Believer without imagining a chimp with a mic. Well done Llama, a tour de force
Wow, only one shot in the entirety of 45 minutes of football. That was either the most boring football match ever seen **or** the most technically supreme showcase of passing and playbuilding on behalf of both teams.
Oh wow that was a twist I wasn't expecting. The outcome seems like to me seems more like the game being too hardwired to read certain things (ie the "expectations") and not having some sort of leniency or even a small understanding of how certain circumstances may be too unfair to be thrown at the player. But hey, it's FM21, it wasn't a very good game in that regard. :) Although, all in all, what a fantastic story this series has produced!
Longest save without a single piece of silverware (cup or league) has to be an FM10 I did several years ago, similar to this: only players brought up by the club (existing roster players were fine, as well as players that the club has 'created' years ago but play somewhere else). Only players I allowed myself to buy would be jobless players who have never had a club before (so, newgens that start without a team). Started unemployed, simulated a year and joined the Portuguese 3rd Tier newly promoted FC Famalicão. Had some existing players there as well as the ones the game "generates" to give you a basic roster *and* that season's (horrible) youth intake. Using really bad fake players the game generates upon promotion, and a poor youth intake, it took me 8 seasons of mediocrity (the first 3 always on the verge of relegation) to finally achieve "First Place" in the league - which then leads to a small league with 3 teams (the winner of each "regional" third tier). Got battered. So technically, i got the "trophy" for winning "South Division", but not "2nd Division B". So, 8 seasons before this team even as so much had a whiff at silverware. 2 years later, I finally get promoted to the 2nd tier, but in 2nd place on the 4-match phase. Finances were sort of really bad but being able to get into the League Cup helped a lot. Sadly I lost that file and haven't tried doing one ever since, but the highlight for me was having a 15 year old newgen poached by Tottenham for 1.5m euro about a week after the youth intake. 4.5 star potential rating and it was gone before I could offer him a contract.
