On behalf of all my kings who this Men's Mental Health Awareness Month are suffering alone in silence being told to man up before then being expected to engage in patriarchal gender constructs, Butcher speaks for you today ✊
What I love about this scene is the expression on the peoples face. They maybe questioning everything about superheroes and that butcher might be right
I think he reacted perfectly. He told them to move on twice and she says “go on Sam give him the stick” had no respect so he aggressively had to protect himself from there prying. They’re lucky he didn’t beat there asses with it.
The best thing about the boys is they were humans going up against practical gods, that’s why I respect MM so much because when they took temp V he didn’t and was still ready to throw hands with soldier boy
Where is your rage? Your self respect? God i wanted to say these words to all the damn doormats i have seen in the anime (Naruto Uzumaki, Shinji Ikari, Izuku Midoriya, etc), because they are exactly like these people. They don't feel any rage againts their abusers, because they don't have any self respect and they believe that all the bullying they recieve can be forgiven even if there is no apology and their abusers can be pardoned because they're better or are entitled to do as they please. I'm not saying revenge an murder are the best solutions but passivity is also an evil that allows worse evils to take root and grow.
People already are corrupted and put themselves above others, imagine if we had people who think of themselves as kind of demigods because they have superpowers?
billy butcher les enseña que puedes lamentarte toda la vida o hacer algo..lo expresa con la ira y la autoestima..necsaria,,,cosa de las que esas personas carecen
So fucking right, and to be fair, I say this shit against our own society all the time. And never EVER recieve an iota of positive feedback from it, you assholes agreeing here, you're posing cause it's safe to agree here because that is the narrative of this show. I never fucking see any of you anywhere else going after bullshit, speaking harsh truths, you all just take the safest easiest option.
To a degree. Although this is the same guy who drove Ryan away and into the Homelander, his dad. Whether people are on one side or another, you have to learn to master your emotions and not let even one emotion take the front wheel too much in the moments that will test you. People get beat down and made to feel even showing their rage to the people who harmed them is "wrong" when some things don't make any sense.
