So the tone of the carbon fibre is better than the tone of wood? i doubt it. Its not going to turn the "mod scene " on its head darrell, not at all, people will hardly notice it even exists and continue to use wood, because wood sounds better than carbon fibre ( a petrolium byproduct) and carbon fibre is also very energy intensive and expensive process. And you cant really have a fair comparison when you pick some of the most expensive fender necks to compare it to, a fender professional II neck is expensive, but i'd rather have a nice tone than an ugly black carbon fibre neck. Do they come in other colours? haha.
Sorry but this video misses the point. When people say heavier they are talking about the density of wood. Density of wood affects the tone and a higher dense piece of wood happens to be heavier. When you chop up the guitar you are not changing the density of the wood only the weight. This is a foolish as strapping on barbell plates to your guitar and expecting it to sound different.
Decided to try this on my Jazzmaster. Got the locking tuners and compound radius options. All I can say is I am totally impressed. Fast delivery, super easy and quick install, and plays great. I don't have to worry about those pita Fender tuners. Never had a compound radius before, well worth the option. Only thing I had to do was buy a black pickguard off of Reverb.
Great choices and descriptions - I'm puzzled why, in describing the physical differences and different looks among the Tele variations you featured, you never mentioned the binding on a couple of the versions you showed us. Because I think it makes those Teles look very different from the others that don't have binding. I think the binding looks cool - immediately very eye catching.
Schecter is one of the best guitars I’ve ever had. I own a hellraiser diamond series that I had since 2015. And although she’s a heavy metal guitar, I mainly play r&b hiphop and gospel
another that discovered that there are more brands than fender and gibson and a lot of better guitars in pick ups for the mid quality models there´s also a more expensive model of the stratocaster with better pick ups as it happens with the Les paul from Gibson, but ok ,Klos another brand try yamaha or ESP see if they aren´t better than midel range models from Fender or Gibson, i refer this two because they are more known but so many good guitar brands also the stratocaster cames in three prices ,normally kids buy the cheapest and buy better pic ups to improve their guitar, so many guitar brands in the world, but i have a spanish one that as a speaker in the guitar body it´s genius also a Segovia look-a-like a les paul mixed with an SG not the other gibson as there are several , a model more exquisit
Crazy how sophisticated and beautiful these electronics are- yet still nobody has created a realistic pedal to make a guitar sound like a saxophone, trumpet or an old Gibson acoustic. Great demo 🙏
Hmmm. I kind of feel there's no universal better magnet. It's about the other components too. And mostly about the guitar. I too understand why A2 and A5 are super popular though. Probably can be applied in most guitars. A3 are too dark imho you need to have a bright guitar for them to work. A4 I don't know it seemed to kind of be in between 2 and 5. More powerful than 2 but not as scopped as 5. I think it's a good choice
Strats and tele s are the most uncomfortable at playing regarding the first knob at strats ,and the pickups switch at tele s ,which I hit mostly eoth my strumming hand ...don t have a tele, but at my strat I ve removed the first knob ,and now I have one volume and one tone knob
I got a MIJ Aerodyne Strat for $599, absolutely new looking refurb. This neck looks amazing but at that price you can get an amazing guitar. I wouldn't consider it for a cheap guitar, but I'm digging the looks
Did you just pronounce Reverb with a silent E? 01:41 ........Who does that? What planet have you lived on? Haven't you ever heard of Reverberation?, It is a phenomenon where sound waves reflect off surfaces, blending with the original sound to create a series of echoes that gradually diminish in volume and density.........Jeeeez.....
I bought a eart 335 after that I'll never own another eart guitar the neck is so flimsy the neck stays in a bow if you try to get it straight it buzzes strings out so you have to find a happy medium meaning a curved freaking neck it's total junk so bad I would not resell it to anyone and will not try a eart product if anyone is reading this get a Epiphone pay a little more get a name brand eart is junk
I bought the Eart sg3 strat in satin sunburst finish. They call the color Virginia. I took some polishing compound and polished the body and it looks pretty slick. It brightened the color and gave it a gloss. It almost looks like a sienna burst. Will change the puckups soon but im diggin my Eart ymx-sg3!👍
It is also the perfect guitar to experiment with: take off the scratch plate, route it as you wish, and put all kinds of pickups in it with minimal work. After routing you don't even have to take the string off to swap pickups.
My favorite thing about this video was that the whole thing was blurry kuz the camera didnt know which part of the guitar to focus on. It just made me smile. No disrespect in the slightest.
I'm a bass player, and after have seen KLOS Apollo Bass my decision was made. Totally tired of moving necks, must say. And the best part is that I don't care about the finishing on the back. All the other benefits are above the finish touching feel.
Really nice, but I can't see putting a $600 neck on a Squire or other budget guitar though. For example; my $100 Harley Benton Strat has a God awful neck, but this replacement would be mind numbingly stupid.
9:19 you said “overseas” about 20 times towards the end of the video there. ALL 11 of my guitars are made overseas. 5 Solars, PRS Tremonti , Harley Benton Gotoh single cut, Ibanez AZ Indonesia. Sun Dew Gold Ibanez Pia - Japan, 1987 Fender Squire strat I bought brand new made in Japan. 2020 Squire Affinity Strat made in China. All of those guitars have no QC issues unlike crappy Gibsons that cost way more than the minimum wages that they pay their employees. There’s nothing wrong with guitars made overseas. The fact that they are better than some USA companies means that those companies need to lift their game. Would i buy a Gibson ? No. Would i buy a Heritage? Yes. Why ?? QC and employees who care. But give me a Solar or Edwards or Eastman or PRS SE any day of the week. Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
4:00 I like the switching combination. The two outers is the so called Jimi Hendrix mod. To have that stock is awesome. Although my Ibanez AZES40 HSS with its toggle switch gives you that plus more options. I might have to try one of these though Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
